Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

So, this was interesting. Am I gonna be banned?

Let me preface this by stating I play on console. The reason I mention that is because all the others players were cross platform, including the killer. I have no idea what happened here and at first I thought the Huntress was memeing, but I learned pretty quick that wasn't the case. It didn't look like Huntress could see me and she was clearly having troubles hitting me. I've seen a similair glitch to this where you're stuck on the killer's shoulder, but not like this. I just wanna know if anyone, hopefully a mod, can tell me if I'm about to be banned for this bug since I'm sure from the killers POV it looked like I was hacking. Another thing to note was that the other survivors could see me as after the clip I'm healed by Cheryl.

No. The same thing happened with me.

A Doctor had his carry animation glitched just like that. He could injure everyone else, but me.

This is a bug within the Killer, I believe.

Edit: Or maybe the Survivor. I was also playing Jake and I’m on console as well.

    No that's a bug. Can't be helped.

    Oh, that's the new bug

    The Black Out Bug.

By the way, this isn't my killer. This was the killer that we was facing. His screen was like this. You can barely see the gen. It's a weird bug but that's probably why she was swinging randomly. You can barely see the outlines of stuff.

You cannot be banned for a bug or glitch you have no control over.

Exploiting a bug or glitch you do have control over is potentially bannable, if it is gamebreaking. There are bugs in the game that allowed you to hide your body visually inside a rock, but the killer could still hear you, read your aura, and pick you up. Not neccesarily gamebreaking and could be avoided by the killer by not slugging you for such a long time. There were also bugs in the game that allowed you to run through places where a killer could not(aka, fatshaming spots), which are gamebreaking in quite a lot of cases, especially if a survivor knows about it, and thus bannable.
