They already did. In December when they promised keys were being reworked "soon".

They said moris would be reworked for give or take a couple years and yet I don't see that as an issue

The difference is, when they said a "mori rework was coming", you didn't see moris every game until it happened. In my experience, mori's were quite rare.
When insta heals were nerfed? It was 6 weeks of seeing them *literally every game*. Same with toolboxes, BNPs etc. It's been like that with keys since December. 80% of lobbies seem to either have a key or 6 second switch to a key. That 6 seconds gets them another 20 minute queue time.

Our experiences have been quite different then. Moris were usually really common for me to deal with, whilst I rarely did, and still didn't, see keys. Right up until very recently when chests were bugged.
