How is the map The Game killer sided?
Genuine question, not trying to rant or anything, I'm just curious/stumped. When nearly every pallet is a god pallet and gens are spread out like they each have a plague, I don't see how it can let killers get the upper hand when chases usually stay for a good minute or three each?
Unless I'm missing some huge point, I just don't understand it. Any feedback is welcomed.

It used to be pretty killer sided until... it came about. Corrupting our youth and killing our elders, the Curse of the Map Rework strikes once per major update. It takes what we love and twists them into something... worse.
The Game was hit particularly hard. We tried to save what we could but... it was never the same. Changed. A stranger where a beloved map for stealth killers universally (oh, and the Nurse too) used to stand.

It's not.
Anyone who says it is, is smoking some seriously good #########.

You're thinking old game. Old game became killer sided once the few key strong pallets were used up. New game everyone knows is not killer sided at all.

It's killer sided once all six thousand pallets are gone. 80% of which are all safe as hell
After that, all they have is a good window or two and some L wall T walls and that's it

It's a strange map since Survivors really only have the pallet spam, which is now very hefty. Otherwise the small size of it and the lay out favors Killers for the most part. Nurse and Spirit can easily patrol while Doc and Legion love everyone being bunched up.
I know it really feels like it could use a pallet nerf, but I question if that would just sky rocket it back to being so killer sided that Survivors may as well suicide.

It isn't.... not anymore. Old Game was a blessing for stealth killers and one of the deadliest maps in DBD. Now, it is just pallet town 2.0
If you want to make it killer sided, you have to get rid of most of the pallets, so the map becomes a little bit similar to its original version. But it is not that easy to do it during a trial.

This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best and most accurate description of map reworks I've ever seen!
Well done, my friend.

that 1 corner hook makes the game "killer sided" and survivors want it nerfed.
but if you tell them that the 20 god pallets need to be nerfed they're quiet

I don't use a lot of different Killers, so my commentary is kind of limited in context. I find the new Game pretty, sad to go against the grain, balanced. Sure it has a RIDICULOUS number of pallets, but it is still small. It still has lots of ways to approach unseen. It has a few broken loops, but they are fortunately spread out. Overall, my performance there with Myers hasn't really changed that much. I have to sweat a bit more, but I'm still able to close the deal. Weird as it is going to sound, I prefer Gideon (the Game) over Lerys. I find I can cut people off and mind game far more effectively, pallets or not, at Gideon.

This might sound stupid, but I haven't had a lot of issues on the game map even against swf's. Most people some how gravitate to the l and t wall in the back corner most of the time, and totally forget that there is 1 million god pallets to use. Trickster is pretty god send on that map, but whenever I play my boy clown I do struggle just a little bit if people pre drop the super solid pallets.

Same lery's is an absolute trainwreck beyond all proportions.

Who is even saying this map is killer sided right now? Sure, the old version I can understand. But THIS version with 65 god pallets? It's way worse than Haddonfield imo

Absolutely nobody has said we need to make it more survivor sided what drugs are you taking and where do i get some?

Thank you I try my best to be as entertainingly accurate as I can be

Then let me tell you: you've succeeded.
And I agree completely with what you've said. To be honest, I miss the old visuals, especially Old Lery's. I cannot believe I will never see them in-game anymore.

New coldwin maps have zero mind games even without stretched rez

Its killer sided when there are almost no pallets left cause its small and it has almost no windows.
But until killer breaks his way to that point, its survivor sided

Although the ridiculous number of breakable walls and god pallets, it's is still a small map, so it's easier to pressure gens and go from point A to point B. Of course, killers like Huntress and Deathslinger have a bad time there, but others do very well. I just had a Hag game there today and it was easy as pie (got my Hag adept :D).
Edit: I am not saying it's killer sided, but it's not as bad as everyone puts it.
