Question about black box and new alarm clocks.
I play on PS4 so I cant try out the PTB.
I was thinking about the changes to alarm clocks and it dawned on me that this might makes the new black box add on worthless. No one will wake up until the end, use the alarm clock and leave since they are immune to sleep.
So when does the add on timer start? Is it to open the gates or leaving the match?

Black Box blocks the gates for sleeping survivors after the gate is opened (it's a mini Blood Warden now). The fact that it only lasts for 10 seconds and doesn't do anything else during the trial is the part that seems underwhelming to me though.
Alarm Clocks will nullify it, but they also might require a survivor to move away from the gate to wake up (though you could probably just fail a healing skillcheck or be woken up by a teammate at the gate too).

Yeah but you could be put back to sleep with a hit if you fail a skill check, so there might be a slim chance you'll get some value out of black box.
But that 30 seconds from the alarm clock will kill that add on and it's definitely not worth 6000 BP. Hell, it not worth 3000
