Improve the glow of hex totems
So I just recently played a game against a killer running undying and devour hope, while I cleansed undying, nobody cleansed devour. We didn’t know he had devour until we were all hit with the exposed status so naturally they started looking for it.
for context we were plying on Ormond, a visually bright map. After running around the entire map looking for the totem and him killing 2 survivors in the process, I finally found the totem. Where was it? In the middle of the long rock structure in from of the main building. I passed by this thing at least twice and didn’t see the glowing fire. It wasn’t until I was basically up to it that I could see it was lit.
It doesn’t change the game we still play but the fact that the totem was basically invisible despite being in the most obvious spot which is another problem that needs to be fixed, and wasn’t noticed is a problem. I’ve had this issue on other maps as well where the hex totems don’t look lit until your up to it. Is this a bug? Or is it a problem on some maps like Ormond. I’d like to know if anyone else has had this problem.

Totem spawns need to be changed -- but not to make them easier to see. Even on reworked maps, they're often so much in the wide open, they might as well have a neon sign hanging above them saying "Break me now". Totems spawns like this one, for example:
Hex perks are already incredibly risky to run, due to the ease in which they're located on almost every map (Midwich, Glenvale, Hawkins, and Lery's being the few exceptions). They don't need to be made any easier to find -- rather, the opposite.

This explains why the "dull" totem i cleansed exploded lol

I noticed Hex-Totems like this but did not know it was caused by Undying. I have stared at a Hex-Totem directly and did not see that it was lit, I only noticed it later when I heard that it was lit.
Hopefully it gets fixed soonish, I am fine with Hex-Totems being less noticeable, but that is a little bit too much, lol.

Just use your ears.
Even when Hexes can’t be seen, they can be HEARD when close by.

I thought this was intentional.
Since undying protects only once now, reducing the amount of fire is a nice touch.
I mean, it's a hex totem...
If the totem is way too obvious and gets broken in a minute right after the start, nobody would use it.
