Rank Bloodpoint Rewards?

Hi,

I got to Red Rank 1 for the first time ever before last reset, I did this for the 250k BP Reward that I read about online here:

My Rank reset but I have not received any bloodpoints at all for the reward, is this normal? Thank you in advance for the assistance!

    Rank Rewards will be provided only after MMR will be introduced as Matchmaking tool. You will get your bloodpoints then cause otherwise ranks would not have any function. Keep in mind when they will finally introduce MMR for good (and Rank Rewards) you will get put back to rank 20 everymonth, (not only 5 ranks back) so getting that Rank 1 for 250 000 BPs will take a lot of time.

    Oh wow. I thought it was already implemented haha. Damn Rank 20 every time? That sounds a bit rough.. not sure I like the sound of that

    I wonder what the heck I was rewarded 150k BP for every reset before then, I just assumed it was Rank Rewards for Purple Ranks but I guess it was something else *shrugs*
