Trickster still feels bad

I've played a few matches with him after the patch; he seems mostly the same. In red ranks, I'm lucky if I get a single hook. If I get more than a single kill, it's usually because the survivors are throwing and giving me free m1's. I'm not using OP addons or perks, but he still shouldn't be this bad. His power still seems to take a long time to ready up considering he needs 8 hits. Loops with this killer are also really frustrating. Has anyone else had similar experiences?

    Trickster‘s Power is still pretty weak mainly because of the eight blades until that gets changed he won’t be able to down at a pace that is consistent with the other Killers.

    Yeah I generally felt pretty helpless against decent survivors with him. These being people that have years of practice dodging huntress' beachballs and using the environment against her - now just hit them 16 times. I mainly played him before the bugfix and that was even worse, was getting beaten by pretty terrible survivors. It doesn't feel good having some brainless david that you could've straight-up deleted with any other killer try and flashlight you at the exit gates. Although he's actually aiming at your shoulder.

    But I was optimistic and tried to play him again after he got buffed and got a group who knew what they were doing on pale rose, and just...I'm done with him.

    Still feels bad to me, too. I'm just, like, dancing through threads about that today. I really, really wish there were a dev stream where they explained why he is the way he is. I don't get it.
