How to Get PS4 to Automatically Record?
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve encountered a hacker or bug and tried to get it on video only for my PS4 not to have recorded the match. Like my last time I encountered a hacking Myers. He kept spamming different animations, like pulling me out of a locker when I’m nowhere near one, quickly hitting survivors, and teleporting everywhere. Not to mention insta-downing people by automatically reaching Tier 3 whenever he wanted. I looked to see if my PS4 recorded it and it only got the last couple of seconds or none at all. How do I get it to automatically recorded every match? Just to be safe.

I actually have that option. But when I go to share button and look none of the match was saved at all. Sometimes after I click the share and return THEN it starts recording the match. But too little too late there.

I’m pressing it once after I encounter a hacker or a bug. And then it shows that nothing has been recorded beforehand.

Same. That's the only thing I can think of as well. The screen recording won't record your crossbar menu, so backing out of the game at all will reset the recording. I personally have my recording length sent to 30 minutes and I've never had an issue with getting them. I press the share button once, the side menu pops up, and I go down and hit "Save Video". Once you save a clip though it starts a new one, so if you hit the share button again it'll bump it up against the last video you saved. Otherwise it should be "recording" all of the time.
Is your hard drive full by chance?
