"Kill or be killed" quote

Member Posts: 3,676

I know it's a quote from RE but could this possibly have more meaning ?

I was thinking, the way McCote said it, could he possibly hint at the fact that the new killer will be the first killer that can be killed ?

How coold would it be if new RE killer's power literaly blocks surviors from escaping the trial until they kill the killer or be killed themselfs. A power similar to victor in a way that enables survivors in some way fight back and kill the killer, probably not permanently tough.

Still if it was done properly and killer was actually terrifying to go against but beatable I think that might be the coolest power ever.

That would be interesting but unfortunately I don't think that's what he meant. I just interpreted the "kill or be killed" thing as, you can either play Killer to "kill" or you can play survivor to be "killed".

Kill or be killed is a quote from the game I believe.

Are we finding guns in chests to fight back then?

maybe he can be killed but then respawn.. i dont think they would add a complete new mechanic to the game where survivor can killer the killer (every killer) this would be the end for dbd.

im just guessing the counterplay to this killer is killing him like you do with victor.. and he just respawn or something

It’s probably just a play on words. As it’s a quote from the game and also kill (play killer) or be killed (play survivor).

The kill or be killed quote was from one of the RE games I forget which one but I know it was Claire Redfield who said it.

If Brad Vickers doesn't drop an RPG from a helicopter in EGC I'm gonna be pissed

If so, it would be the same mechanic that happens in Home Sweet Home Survive and Friday the 13th. Hopefully that does not happen, but if I can agree on some weapons to defend against the killer but that it was like a pallet attack.

After all, Cote mentions that the fifth anniversary will leave us with our mouths open.
