Ethan is the only RE character i can see fitting into DBD plus he is main character in the last 2 main titles. Killer no clue i can see Tyrant X and GBerkin 1 just from the top of my head. With all kill coming out wesker isnt ruled out

I really like Ethan and wouldn’t be mad at all if he was the survivor, but he’s definitely not the only character that’d fit in DBD. How do Leon, Chris, Claire and Jill (to name a few) not fit?

I mentioned a shirtless Carlos with an image in a different thread. I have another one where all he is wearing is a green undies and some weapons gear, but I'm scared its too risque for the forums and I don't want to get banned.

The main 4 (Chris, Jill, Leon, Claire) don’t really fit in DBD. It’d be weird to see them running from the Killer.
I’d be down to see Ethan, even if we don’t see his model ingame there is an official model made for him and he’d fit the style of DBD more.

I doubt it. All RE 7 characters are the least popular of the franchise. It will be very likely that we would get 2 survivors just like stranger things chapter, and there a very high chance that it would be Claire and Leon.

I mean in the RE games you often run from enemies. Especially when you're low on ammo. And seeing as they don't have guns in the entity's realm, they don't have much choice.
I mean if Ash Mother [BAD WORD REMOVED] Williams can fit in DBD, then anyone from RE could fit.

Dude, Jack Baker, is one of the most memorable and scariest villains of RE, plus as QwQw has said it's the highest-grossing game of the entire franchise meaning a lot more people know about it, and its the scariest game of the franchise to date!

You don't get scared in a RE game.. unless you are easily scared, they are made to put pressure on you just like DBD, gore doesn't mean scary. If you are an old gamer like me saying that Jack its the most memorable villain in RE universe its a blasphemy 😅. Im not saying RE 7 is bad but come on there are many villains in past games with more trajectory of the franchise that earned their place above him.
I think the most memorable villain of all the franchise is Nemesis, specially in the original game, were he would follow you everywhere and make you feel true panic.. when you cross a door and hear Nemesis music in the background it instantly make you say "Oh #########". Not many games achieve that.

I reckon it's going to be Claire and Leon as base characters, with legendary skins for some other characters, turning Leon into Chris, Claire into Jill, etc.
A Tyrant is likely as the killer, not sure what form as base, but again, skins can turn it into Nemesis or Mr. X.
But I'd also be up for a mutant human killer, Birkin/Wesker, either or with the other as a skin.

What do you mean you don't get scared in a RE game,unless you're talking about 6, but from what I understand you're just so used to seeing the ######### in RE that it doesn't scare you, and that another phobia triggers you, in which RE has or hasn't shown yet.
Why does everyone immediately demand Nemesis... No why does it all have to be about Nemesis, from my experience he was just a bland piece of meat with no actual personality other then him saying 'stars', then again I've never played the OG RE 3. The only reason he was iconic to begin with was the fact he was a big ass dude with a rocket launcher, had random moments and thats it, the Nemesis I dealt with was just a blank, he had no real personality other then the fact he chases you a bunch which gave me a helluva migraine, and make me sigh in annoyance every time I've dealt with him, and he was so scripted to the point calling him the most iconic villain RE is laughable to me. If he comes to this game, he is going to disappoint long time fans with what he brings this game won't do him justice, he is too over the top for this game, and don't even start with 'oh they can make him weaker to fit the game', because tell me and be honest... do you really want to see that?
Plus I really can't think of a power for him, and no there isn't going to be a rocket launcher, because they never could implement something that powerful, he can't use his tentacles because we have Slinger, PH, Huntress, and Depipster. The only thing he can do is bust down a wall, which the devs actually tried to make but cut it due to balancing reasons and programming reasons, basically Nemesis is on the same level as Mr. X, which technically him busting down a wall is the only thing I think he can do as a power. But if I was to allow a RE chapter maybe it would focus on the old and new for both sides rather then just the classics.

It’ll probably be Claire and Leon, possibly Chris or Jill. But Claire and Leon are such obvious choices.
For the Killer I don’t see anything other than Nemesis. Mr. X is like a weird Michael Myers, and I doubt it would be Wesker. Though I think Wesker would be more interesting than Nemesis.

For the chapter they are going to choose classic characters that are most iconic, ethan is not classic or iconic.
A cool character, but not classic.
Im hoping for two survivors, Leon and Claire would be my first choice, Chris and Jill would be another good choice. Legendary skins exist anyway.
As for the killer i expect it to be from the same game as the survivor/s. Leon and Claire would get Mr X/G Stage 1, Jill would get Nemesis. Etc.
Super hyped whatever it will be... Just not ethan im sorry i love the game but no, i would be disappointed.

Ethan would be a strange choice, even playing as him in RE7 you only have a vague idea of what he looks like.

The only problem I have with those four is how they turned into wisecracking ultrabadasses who go against monstrosities way bigger and badder than anything in DbD and always outfight them.
It's hard to imagine Chris "I punch giant boulders so I can beat the ######### out of Wesker" Redfield or Leon "The entirety of RE4" Kennedy running from the killer. Maybe if it was, like.. explicitly them in their earliest entries.

I don’t know where you’re both getting this from as RE7 is the 4th best-selling game in the franchise. RE5 is currently the best-selling in the franchise. With RE6 in second place and RE4 in third.

Ash, fair. Though I wouldn't say most of the things he fights are as insane as what the RE crew fight.
But what about David and Jeff? Jeff's just a dude and David scraps with normal people, not supernatural killers or giant bioweapon monstrosities.

They’re literally teenagers playing dress up. In a ‘realistic’ setting survivors like David and Jeff would destroy them in a fight lol. And I mention Jeff because he’s a big dude and if you read his lore, he’s also known to be a scrapper. So he’d put up a fight. Bill would too.
I don’t think the killers can be harmed which is why the survivors don’t really fight back. Even if they could be harmed, they’re doomed to keep participating in trials so there’s probably no point in trying to get physical. That’s why RE characters would fit as the rules they’re used to in their own world, don’t apply here. They wouldn’t have their usual arsenal.
