Let Us Kick Away Survivors
I don't wanna be unhooked when the killer is nearby. With all the tunneling going on now, it's insane. I should be allowed to prevent someone from unhooking me. Give us a button to kick them away or something. Let us hold the sprint button to prevent the unhook the same way we can prevent healing.
Even better... GIVE US A HUD ELEMENT TELLING US IF SOMEONE HAS BORROWED TIME.
It's clear that killer's refuse to punish the guy who unhooks someone in their face, like they should. At least let us punish them then.

It should be basekit. But I appreciate the meme.

LOL this meme is funny but it does happen in the game from time to time. I dont mind as much if they are running BT but most do not run this perk when they do an unsafe save.

Except we aren't. That's just facts. We can't trust each other. When we do, we get farmed and tunneled. Then, according to 90% of the people here, it's our fault somehow.

Correct. The Killer's job is to kill, not try to figure out which one of you has the most hook states to redistribute them evenly while accounting for who has Borrowed Time.
This idea that the Killer is some kind of fair-play referee is silly. If you unhook your ally right in front of the killer and he downs the injured, that is totally on you two.

How tf am I at fault for someone farming me?
2 -
I bet they’ll release it as a perk
1 -
It shouldn't be a perk. They need to stop making perks to combat bad gameplay and just fix the bad gameplay.

50% blame on you for getting caught and hooked
+
50% blame on the idiot for unhooking you within spitting distance of the killer
=
100% blame.
MATH.

This is to all the killer mains in here saying I'm not allowed to die on hook for some reason.

"The killer's job is to kill!"
Proceeds to blame me for the killer doing their job...

It is the killer's job to kill you. But you failing to escape that action is on you. Survivors have unpteen tools to avoid going down.
As for "not letting you live or die", if you wanna die on hook I'm super into it - it is the other survivors you are screwing over.
2 -
That would fix the problem, but it'd create another big problem. Survivors denying unhooks just to grief.
I do agree with the HUD suggestion though so you know if someone has BT. They should really just let you see the full load out of other survivors. If it's too cramped in the normal HUD add it to the ESC button interface.

As a killer main, I don't go after the unhooked unless:
1) they last second switched to key in lobby
2) they BT tank a hit meant for the unhooker
3) The unhooker ninja'd on them and they are the only survivor I see
or
4) it's required for the perk build (No Way Out, Remember Me, Blood Warden, NOED) but I only bring that out when I see 2+ TTVs in the lobby.
Edit to add: I also don't like it when survivors farm each other on the hook, totally messes up my chaser emblems.

The feature is meant to stop teammates from farming hooked survivors. If they were farmed, they would still die. The addition only prevents unnecessary kills, especially when a teammate is trolling or stupid. Why would someone be punished for the mistakes of another, that’s basic common sense. No one wants to be farmed off hook. Even then, if a survivor uses it to off themselves on hook, it doesn’t matter since they are just going to wait around/not contribute till they either get thrown on the hook again and die or they’re the last one left and still die somehow.

Why does it have to be a matter of fault or punishment? That's not what the killer sees. They aren't trying to find the most fair person to hook, just the easiest. When it comes to one person who is injured next to one who isn't, the injured person is easier to hook. Blame your teammates, but being hooked isn't a punishment, it's just part of the game.
If I hook you in a game, you get unhooked unsafely in my face and I slap you down and hook you again, I'm not doing it to punish anyone, or because I think it's your fault, I'm doing it to try to win the game we are playing. It's not personal, why take it personally? I'm not playing killer for punishments and passing judgement on Survivor behavior, I'm just trying to play a game and have fun.

Unfortunately, being punished for the mistakes of others is part of playing on a team. If someone screws up an extra point kick and loses the game, he loses that game for the whole team.

To summarize... Tunneling
Tunneling that could be prevented if I could prevent people from unhooking in your face.

How do you see this hypothetical playing out?
You are on the hook, let's just say for the sake of argument you are David. David is dying on the hook. Meg runs towards you, being the good track star she is. But OOP! Screw you Meg! I don't want YOUR kind of help! The killer is on his way to stop this unhook. You derf Meg in the face so hard she had David's footprint on her forehead. She turns to leave, and now the Killer hits her in the confusion. She takes off a few seconds later, gets downed herself, and gets hooked.
So now you have 2 people on hook instead of 1... but at least you didn't get another hook state personally? Is THAT the net gain here?
2 -
Again with the buzz words. And when the unhook instantly happens before a killer could make distance to the hook it probably is also camping?
Tunneling is the case when a killer has multiple targets with the same appeal to them but focuses only one when ever available over the others. Going for the injured over the running healthy survivor is basic logic and every demand to let the fresh unhook go for their fun is simply misdirected displeasure over the mistake of the "teammate" and the lack of control in that situation for the "farmed" survivor.
But at the same time once bt is in play you don't see the unhooked use it to get to safety but protect the unhooker taking the appeal and option from the killer to even attempt the desired focus switch.

Admittedly I've purposefully farmed teammates that are being total tools before they are hooked
