This is my idea for a hotline Miami chapter

New killer: 

The Butcher aka Martin Brown

Power:

Midnight Animal

The Butcher has a power gauge that slowly builds up over time landing attacks increases the rate at which it builds up. Pink phones are spawned randomly throughout the trial once the gauge is full the phones ring and are ready to be answered. Once The Butcher answers the phone Midnight Animal is ready to be used.

Upon pressing the active ability button The Butcher’s default movement speed is greatly increased but can no longer lunge instead holding down the attack button will constantly will constantly swing the weapon with no movement penalty to missed attacks and switching hands after every attack. Once Midnight Animals duration is over the gauge must be filled again.

Special attack: Throw

Holding the power button readies The Butchers weapon to throw release the power button to throw your weapon. Upon hitting a survivor gives them a brief stun effect. After the weapon is thrown The Butcher must use his fists until retrieved it. Fists have a much shorter lunge and in true animal have a longer time between attacks. The weapon can be retrieved by picking it up off of the ground or going to a phone and grabbing a new one. 

Other info regarding the power

Having Midnight Animal fill faster for each attack landed was a way to try and incorporate “combos” into his power

there are multiple phones but you can answer any of them

note that when aiming your weapon to throw it doesn’t gain additional range or speed over time

upon picking up the phone his current “combo” is lost

Add ons 

These are just some add on ideas I had

Standard add ons that increase duration of true animal shortens the charge time etc.

Rat mask remnant

A well worn piece of a rubber mask reduces movement speed in Midnight Animal but grants undetectable

“Well, let's get this over with then”

Tiger mask remnant

A well worn piece of a rubber mask punching lunge is increased to slightly longer than a normal lunge, time in between Midnight Animal punches is now much faster normal attacks are now as weak as original punches.

Snake mask remnant

 A well worn piece of a rubber mask throwing weapon will now injure healthy survivors and give injured survivors the deep wound status effect. movement speed is reduced 

Old VHS tape

An old tape labeled “Final Cut” Midnight Animal duration increased by 5 seconds for every successful attack additionally players including The Butcher within the terror radius hear constant chase music

Fake script

An alternative version of the script that was given to Martin Midnight Animal takes much longer to charge and has a shorter duration but gives every survivor the exposed status effect

Perks: 

Patience

If the obsession performs a cooperative action for 6/5/4 seconds their aura is revealed. obsession aura is now a different color

“You better go along obediently, they'll take you to her”

GET HER

when in a chase with the obsession you gain bloodlust 15/30/45% faster and you don’t lose bloodlust unless you exit the chase

CUT!

Every time you hook a survivor break a pallet and damage a generator gain a token when you have 8/7/6 tokens you can kill a downed survivor

“No need for a retake! That was perfect!”

I know CUT! Is kind of a weird perk but I think the core concept of rewarding a player for “following the script” is an interesting idea

Appearance:

The Butcher is a larger man of above average height who’s most distinct feature is his pig mask. Besides that he wears a white tank top with black pants and wields a police baton. Prestige is just a bloodier version of this 

Talk show outfit: The pig mask now has hair coming out the back a small bloodstain on the face and Martin’s green eyes are visible. Instead of a white tank top The Butcher wears a fancy suit with a purple tie and bloodstains around the hands and wields a hammer. This must be bought in the store
