Hatch Spawn Locations

I was wondering if the hatch can spawn on say a 2nd floor/2nd Story Shack kind of area, the best way I can describe is the Gideon Meat Packing Plant, almost always spawns on the ground floor but not basement deep, just about every hatch I've seen on streams/youtube videos/ and personally always spawn on the "Middle" Level, even though its supposed to be random. has anyone ever seen a hatch on like the swamp 2nd story floor shacks or that one house in the cornfield map that looks like 5 stories high that always has a generator?

They may have changed it, but last I saw it's impossible for the hatch to spawn in the basement or on the upper level of a house. I believe The Game is an exception and it can spawn on either floor, but I'm not certain. It can also spawn underground on Badham Preschool, and on the lower floors of houses in Lampkin Lane. It can't spawn on the upper level of Crotus Prenn Asylum, or the upper level of any of the buildings in the Macmillian Estate, Autohaven Wreckers or Coldwind Farm maps.

I wouldn't like it because my logic would have me saying "Well I escaped.... Even though I should have just fell downstairs xD" I like to think of the hatch as a hole dug with a tunnel leading to safety outside the gates

It's possible for the hatch to spawn in the Killer's house despite the basement being there.
You should just fall through the fall and onto the hook lmao

On Badham preschool it can spawn in the corner of the school basement (Not the basement with the hooks). The basement of the school, the boiler rooms. It can also spawn on hilltops, but other than that, it only spawns on ground level.0
