What's something you heard either about you, your platform, your main etc which is stereotype?
Mine would be definitely that console players are bad compared to pc because I beat pc players both when playing killer and survivor

Once i had someone tell me i'm a camper just cause i play Wraith.
And i get it: He's (currently) one of the better ones at camping.
But bruh, once the Trial starts, i don't stop holding down one or two directional button(s) unless i'm doing an interaction.

I bumped into a blenddette by chance and got called a wall hacker because everyone knows blendette is invisible.

Getting called camper when the entire team is surrounding a hook. Do you just want a free unhook? Where am I going to go since you are all right here

It's especially annoying getting messages post game about it but a lot of the time it ends in a decent convo where I tell them to look at it from my perspective that I literally had nothing else to do lol

That if you play on console, you’re a bad player. If you use perks like Self-Care and Urban Evasion it means you’re doing nothing to help the team. If you play as P3 Claudette you just want to hide all game and hatch camp. Speaking of the last one, I was paired with a 3-man prior to turning off my messages and I was playing as P3 Claudette or Blendette as people like to say and they messaged me accusing me of hiding in bushes all game because they died. Only 3 generators got done all game which were done by me and me alone. I didn’t realise Claudette had telekinesis and could repair generators from inside bushes? The more you know.
This is a common trait in a lot of players, especially SWF. If they die, it’s automatically the random teammates fault. It’s never their own and they’ll just look for excuses. In my case it was because I was Blendette, so in their eyes that gave them the right to throw the overused Claudette stereotypes at me. Even though they all kept going down at the same time as they kept grouping together against BUBBA of all killers.
They didn’t have a problem with this Blendette saving them from hooks and picking them off the ground though... 😜

Tbh Claudette stereotypes annoys me most Claudette I played with or went against were decent if not amazing players

Kind of similar to this, I once had someone tell me because I main Wraith I'm probably bad at the game.

Oh yeah, it's always ironic to hear you're bad from a killed Survivor.
Situations may put this claim in a different light, but generally it doesn't make sense what they're saying.

I've never heard someone call Clown mains boring. Like-- Insulting the person? Seen plenty of people calling Clown boring, which eh. I think any Killer can be boring depending how people can play.
Half the clowns I run into really wanna make sure the person they hooked is nice and safe, and the other half are absolute meme lords.

Claudette Self Caring in the corner of the map.
Nea Urban Evading everywhere.
The Meg that runs around and drops pallets early in a chase.
Dwight in a locker.
Feng's with Flashlights.
Jeff being near extinction :(
Did I miss any? Lol. These are just me pointing out stereotypes here, no harm or offence intended here :)
P.S: Feng's are usually really good at flashlight saves.

Lol I just got out of match speaking of that console vs pc they were 3 pc swf same rank as me and I was solo not to praise myself but I carried them and saved them as console player (again not praise because I consider myself average player still but just an example how irellevant consoles are bad stereotype is)

all claudettes are running selfcare + urban evasion and only crouch aronund the edges of the map, never to be seen by anyone and never doing anything productive for their team.
as a claudette player myself i couldnt disagree more!
though i cant deny she is incredible for stealth...

I get called a hacker all the time because I catch people in lockers. I run whispers on doctor without any terror radius altering perks/addons and if whispers is going off but my blast doesn't shock people, first place I'm looking is in the most obvious locker in sight.

"If you don't play aggressively that must mean you just hide all match and ruin the game".
Though I HAVE seen some of my fellow survivors just hanging back and hiding all match, waiting for everyone else to do all the work (sometimes even gesturing for them to do so) and boy, does that piss me off.
