Pips and Depip problem for DC

Well I was in a match as killer playing Huntress. I found my first survivor and put him down. After I put him down that person DCed. I thought ok maybe he/she has connection problem, however after he dced another team member also DCed. After 2 DC, like 30 secs later I found the other survivor we looked at each other and guess what :)? That is right she DCed as well and finally it was the last survivor and guess what he did? You guys are correct he also DCed. So overall all the team of survivors Dced and I lost a pip :). I dont know why I lost a pip for that because it was not my fault that they DCed. There should be a well known if-else situation in case something like that happened which is not hard to implement to the game.
