Probably the worst attempt I have seen at abusing the Breakdown bug yet
Usually the teams I see that run this at least get a few gens done. This game ended at 5 gens lol. If you come across this. Just attempt to slug and hook any no mither's. So they can't get back up unless running unbreakable, and try to push them to a corner where there is quite a few hooks.

I noticed what was happening when I saw the first hook go down with all the toolboxes. I tried to push one down into the basement at first, but they had breakout so he barely got out before I hooked him. I then noticed by shack there was most of the hooks. So I pushed the team towards shack, and slugged them there. Hooked the no mither, and I picked up the guy with power struggle he got the other 2 on the ground up, and then I downed them all again. Hooked power struggle guy, and then hooked the other 2 just barely. This was on Ironworks, so it wasn't that bad.

I checked to see if they looked at end game screen with their pings, and they left pretty quickly. I don't think they were happy. I've seen a few teams, but they weren't as stacked as these guys were, and they got some gens done, but I think they were indeed embarrassed at what happened to them. I win pretty much every game as Trickster, so I don't think they were expecting an actual good Trickster too. Judging by the way they were playing at first they thought I was a baby.

op, this should be reportable. i hope you reported each one of them for bug abuse. one dude running a perk doesn't necessarily mean it was an intentional effort to exploit a glitch, but this is just so blatant.

It's not reportable unfortunately according to what was said by Dev's/Mods. Most of the time it isn't as noticeable, but this time was a very very obvious situation, and I took action accordingly in the round. Hopefully they learn off of what happened that round, and don't do it again.

Could I get a brief description of what this bug is? Haven't heard of it until now

Breakdown after someone gets unhooked or unhooks themselves instead of the hook being gone for a certain time frame as the perk states. The hook is gone forever unless it's basement hook. That's the bug right now.

I've noticed a marked increase in sabo squads since this bug came out.
I actually refuse to play the game until the post-mid chapter hotfix now, because both sides have bugs that make the game feel unplayable if they occur. (this is partially why I stopped playing for a few months when the Clown buff came out too)
I lost one game to the breakdown bug as I didn't know someone had it until it was too late, 2 hooks on 3 people, 3 hooks on the other.
My last killer game, half the map had no hooks by the time it was down to two people, and one person recognised this so they went to the corner of the map, (they had breakdown (: ) but when trying to hook them I found hatch. I watched the person until they had 2 crows and were almost fully bled out and then went to the gen that was right in front of hatch. It had progress, and naturally the person that was doing it was there because of hatch and hiding in the locker right by it. Easy 4k, but incredibly annoying. They then acted stupid in postgame asking why the hooks didnt respawn, etc. But clearly they knew; they'd been saboing that game too. Multiple games in a row had this, so I had to stop.

I love the p3 head a lot. I usually don't use that exact outfit I like the epic one a lot, but I also like the green or pink one with the tie. I don't really switch bats too much, but I like using the green/one I have on a lot more than the other one's. The p1 one is also really cool. I have all of his cosmetics lol.

Yea, honestly just throw them all down in the basement and sit on top of it if you can. They deserve it, if they try to abuse a bug like that.

Yea, you have to catch it early on to act accordingly. Thankfully I've dealt with enough squads with it to act early on in the game. Although it doesn't make for a fun game at all. I don't know why survivors wanna do it. All it does it make the killer want to play as scummy as possible.

You are not wrong about it getting out of hand. Although I do pick up on the situation typically at the start of the game now, and it's pretty easy for me to handle, but it usually ends up with everyone getting 1 hooked, which doesn't create for a fun match.

Agree I couldn't care less I had infectious on plague and I knew their positions I baited them into save grabbed my corrupt power quickly went on stairs of basement and boom two flies one stone 😂

I know I said I wouldn't play until the pallet bug was fixed, but I might have to make an exception to run into these naive bug-abusing sabo squads with my taxi build. ;)

You're going to run into quite a few of them. If you pay attention to lobby screen then you'll notice it more than likely with all the toolboxes. Although I tab out in lobby and offering screens, so I have no idea what I'm getting into until the round starts. They are quite rampant right now. So swing away lol.

Yeah it was breakdown swf with 4 purple sabo toolboxes with breakout I came to point u wanted to dc if it wasn't for basement that carried me I would have prob dc because it was very unfun and annoying I don't care if I lose but if I'm gonna lose I wanna have fair chances

Same with me, but I don't dc no matter what. You just gotta take action next time if you catch on with it happening just slug them all, and let them bleed out if you have to.

And the worst part is: These sabo squads are getting more common. This bug needs to get fixed sooner rather than later.
