The HUD should provide the player a visual indication of all the information they have.

Both sides
To enable clarity of what is currently going on...
- Should have an in-game clock to keep track of time.
- Should have better ways of gauging time remaining in a player's current hook stage
- Could be accomplished with a segmented entity progression bar
- Could be accomplished by having two progression bars, with one laid over the other (say, a white bar for first stage laid over a red bar for second stage).
Killers
To more properly organize what they already know...
- Should see the number of times each player has been hooked
- Should see the progression of their powers onto survivors rather than having to make educated guesses
- Pig's RBT timer
- Plague's sickness
- Freddy's sleep timer
- Deep Wounds
Survivors
To equalize information between solo and SWF...
- Should see the loadouts of their teammates
- Should get more details on the status of their teammates
- If they're in chase, their portrait is highlighted
- If they're in the killer's terror radius, their portrait pulses
- If they're repairing, the survivor "gears" icon appears in the corner of their portrait
- If they're healing/being healed, a red cross appears in the corner of their portrait
- Should be able to see the current remaining number of totems on the map as a HUD element.

This would be very nice, but seeing as though the community had to pull teeth just to get some colour blindness settings, the DBD team giving us advanced HUD elements to toggle obviously isn't going to happen anytime this decade.
Just look at what they did to the totem counter people asked for.

Regarding the Deep Wound timer, from the fandom:
"The bleed-out timer is paused as long as the affected Survivor is running or mending."
If only one of this is true, then the Killer does not know the state of the Deep Wound timer.
