Question on GAME RULES - Saloon map.
I really want to know on this one. JUST an official response. What is the Response on the whole thing called the "Saloon Venus Fly Trap".
Here is what it is: Where basically players can enter the room on the top floor. With 3 breakable walls, and the window. and the moment the Antagonist of the game uses the perk "Bamboozle". We can DOWN the survivor, slug them, and when their NEXT team mate goes in to RESCUE them. Bamboozle the window again, DOWN them, rinse and repeat. until all 4 survivors are slugged in that room. Bamboozle LOCKS the window vault point. and a person can re-vault the window, it locks it down. again.
Is this against rules or not? Just tryin to stay outta trouble I guess...

I could be wrong, but I don't think it is against the rules. After all, you aren't abusing an exploit or holding the game hostage.
Survivors decided to enter a strategically powerful room and payed the price.

slugging isnt against the rules.
you'd only get in trouble if you were to not down the survivors and locked them in that room.

I would only say it's against the rules if you bodyblock the window after everyone is in, because the game will last forever (holding the game hostage). If the killer hooks the survivors or lets them all bleed out, I don't think it's against the rules because the game finishes after a certain amount of time.

Sounds more like the survivor's fault for going in that room in the first place.

Trapping someone in a room with no escape is definitely taking the game hostage.

Its not against the rules for the game will eventually end when everyone bleeds out or stop falling for the trap and fixes gens or the Killer hooks everyone but I believe BHVR should get rid of those 2 rooms all together, they serve no purpose, no sane Killer breaks the walls unless they are farming and Survivors dont usually enter them because they can be a death sentece.

it is not against the rules

He's trapping people into a room with no escape that cannot be countered. Tell me how exactly that's allowed.

As long as they are slugged, it's fine.
If they are trapped in there and they are not in the dying state, then it becomes an issue. But in the dying state they are bleeding out and the game will come to a definite end. Slugging does not constitute taking the game hostage because the bleed-out timer is 4 minutes, after which they die and move on.

okay thank you.

If you slug people, all good. If you refuse to slug them and keep blocking the window over and over, that's holding the game hostage.
By in-game rules, provided they are slugged, it's okay as the game will eventually end. Waiting, say, 10 minutes before slugging them is a different story- I think even 2 minutes is too much.

They're doing something that has absolutely zero counter. I can almost guarantee that Bamboozle spam was not thought of when the devs designed this area of the map. Making it abuse of an exploit.
But I forgot. If a killer does it, that makes it okay.

Like I said, if they trap the survivor without downing them, it's bannable. If they down the survivor, it's not bannable because the game will end in 4 minutes for them

Reading this, now I really want to try that out xD. But sadly, experienced survivors won't enter that room at all, so I guess it's a non-issue.

I thought I should ask. I wasn't sure if it was an intended strategy they put in the map or not. Since some companies do some unique things to help players out. Since 3 walls require the Antagonist to break it, and the only point of escape is the window. 😵

Actually some do. If they need to waste as much time as possible and have no other option, they'll vault the window then enter the locker. You're either forced to leave them or you have to break a door (some inexperienced killers may accidentally open the infinite doing so) and grab them from the locker.

I don't think it's against the rules, seems less than sportsman like tho. But I imagine it is pretty rare...so whatever.

But thats only like a last resort, to waste some more time. Happens very rarely.

Yeah but like I said, if they're completely out of options it's something they can do.

Ok, let my change my claim from "experienced survivors won't enter that room at all" to "experienced survivors won't enter that room at all, except when out of options". Still not enough to enforce it so I could test that out xD.

If Killer downs the Survivors inside the room the game will end eventually after all bleed out, its not banable. For something to be banable as holding the game hostage it requires to reach a point where one party cant end the game by itself, it would be banable if the Killer bodyblocked the window with everyone inside and then went afk for Survivors can only end the game by disconecting.

Or or ORRRR!!!....... use unbreakable and heal every single one of your team 😂 swear to god unbreakable is one perk that definately infuriates a killer... then if he downs us again and leaves us to slug, the players pretty much just being a complete nob then and deserves the entire team to quit 🥲👍
Nobody on any side *
(Killer or survivors) deserves a pants match gameplay.

I want to specify the room I am talking about.
