I was having so much fun playing this game, I loved the killers and people were even coming into my channel and saying I was a fun killer to play against. I hit rank 12, all of a sudden I'm matched with red and purple ranks, and they just run circles around me and troll the hell out of me. It quickly became a game about tactics, and a now I just feel like a dirty player and I'm not even having any fun. Even if I play nice and purposely let them go or just chase, I get trolled at the end gate. If they school me they'll hold up the gate and delay the game and if I back out because I'm getting trolled or griefed I'm the one who gets punished. I've never had a survivor just let me hit them for some extra points on the way out, whereas I'm expected to not "camp" or "tunnel" ever and basically just let the survivors unhook each other. I had a merciless round last night and had one survivor DC'd on the first down and waited the entire rest of the game to start threatening me, come into my channel and then harass me in chat, and that individual won't even get a 5 minute time out, whereas if I leave a match because I'm being visibly griefed in game I have to wait 15 minutes to get into another round and possibly go through it all again, or get harassed if I have even a half decent round.

I don't think I will be playing this game anymore, because the community at the mid and upper levels seem extremely toxic and the gameplay loses all value, and that makes me sad because I was having a lot of fun being a moonwalking, jumpscare "shape" or a silly ghostface or chasing with hillbilly. I love the lore and the killers are awesome and fun to play as, but it's just not worth putting up with that level of toxicity.

    Honestly if it comes to people being rude just ignore them. Once you get better at killer it wont be as bad but until then just ignore. If the survs tbag at the exit just go stand in a corner, if they go to your chat just say ggs and if they harrass you ban them from chat. You dont have to play scummy to be fun either, being creative or just testing stuff out is some of the best stuff to do in the game
