Will console players ever get to take part in PTB?

Considering how buggy and weird the game tends to be for console players, I think allowing all platforms to take part in the PTB would help with inspecting the new changes and pointing out bugs.

Will this ever be a thing?

Is it dependent on Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo themselves to approve?

Don't hold your breath, ptb on console is not sometihng they're working on doing.

    No.

It's a test build on a dedicated server. It would essentially be an entirely different game that would need adding to the PSN/Microsoft store, which would take approval, etc. There may also be fees involved.

It's not worth doing for a test build that's only up for a week.

Won't happen, for the reasons given above plus the PTB goes through Steam which is PC only.

They'd have to set up separate game files and run them through Sony/Microsoft/ Nintendo for certs, which can take up to a week normally. But the PBT gives what, two maybe three days of useful gameplay to analyze? Not worth it for this size game.
