This is something we've spoken about and confirmed that it's something that's being looked into as we know how much the Community wants it - but we cannot say if/when it will come, I'm afraid.

If they ever did can you imagine the amount of console players that would cross over to PC so their game can run properly? Which is why I don't think BHVR will ever do cross progression. They want all those people to buy the game again.

I have stadia and pc cross progression enabled, and I still had to buy the game on stadia to do that. So in theory enabling cross progression would increase their base game sales with all the people jumping to a new platform. they would possibly lose revenue on DLC, cosmetics, and rifts though. But I can't imagine anyone buying these things separately on each platform anyway

This only would be true if:
- What you are saying makes logical sense
- Every other platform had cross progression, as every major platform doesn't have it
- You took into consideration people changing platforms, I for example use to only play console but after I found out how much better PC is I only play PC now
This is why people mainly want this (I bet), because they have the game already on other platforms and want to swap to a new one.

What are you two going on about? I get a solid 120 frames with drops only here and there. They should optimize the game more, but its not that bad.
Oh and consoles are just that bad, you would be hard-pressed to play any console that would not have some sorta performance issue on any game.

I think the only console that is confirmed to be getting crossprogression is Switch and Switch doesn't even have it yet, so people really shouldn't be asking for their platform yet until the promised platforms get it. Since, until then, the answer is probably 100% no you aren't getting it.
Also, maybe I'm different but I really only want crossprogression for my switch so I can have everything on pc for ptbs. I have no interest on crossing over to full time pc player.

They announced it for Switch, and that's about it. Steam and Stadia already have it I believe.

as for other consoles, they have stated they can’t confirm or deconfirm it so they are very likely negotiating with Sony and Microsoft.

Yeah, I'm excited for Switch cross-progression. I wanna play DBD with my PC progress on the go.

What we are on about is that my lowly Xbox1 cannot even run DBD at 30fps, let alone higher. It dips into the teens on the indoor maps, especially Lery's. And like two years ago the devs said they'd get ALL PLATFORMS to 60fps minimum l, which hasn't happened yet.

Man, I've given up on this dream to the point where I went ahead and just... bought the same cosmetics and such I had on console on PC lol.
I'll still miss all the items on my console Nea though.

If you're questioning what they're referring to, it's the inconsist and at times rough fps the consoles get, in particular the prior generation ones like mine.
Depending on the map, killer, and what's going on in a match, the frames struggle to 30, and for me can drop into the teens on the indoor maps.
This is in addition to studders and freezes whenever a killer gets Bloodlust, Myers tiers up, Sloppy Butcher is applied, Exposed or Exhausted is triggered, many many more. A look through the various posts here will elaborate. Heck i get frame drops on the title screens and in the Bloodwebs.
