Fastest possible generator repair?

Any number crunchers care to tell me what is the quickest you can repair a single generator in the following scenarios:

By yourself with no toolbox but resilience and spine chill

By yourself, with above perks with optimal toolbox setup but no BNP

By yourself with above perks with toolbox + BNP

4 people on generator with Prove thyself, in all of the above scenarios on all 4 survivors?

I only managed to get the first two done before I got dragged away to watch a film, so here's as far as I got. I hope someone else can do the rest but if not, I'll try and get the other 6 done soon.

I'm going to use this post by @Orion to help me here:

By yourself with no toolbox but resilience and spine chill

This would increase generator speed by 15% assuming you're always injured and the killer is always looking in your direction.

80 charges (c) on a generator, +15% speed means you put in 1.15 charges each second (c/s).

    80/1.15=~69.6 seconds.

By yourself, with above perks with optimal toolbox setup but no BNP

Optimal toolbox is debatable but I'm going to calculate with a Commodious Toolbox, Wire Spool, and Socket Swivels.

    According to the DBD Wiki:

    Commodious = +30% for 32 charges

    Socket Swivels = +30%

    Wire Spool = +12 charges

Total of +60% speed for 44 charges, and then normal speed for the remaining 36.

As buffs stack additively, including Resilience and Spine Chill makes this +75% speed for the 44 charges, and +15% speed for the other 36.

    44/1.75=25.1428571429

    36/1.15=31.3043478261

    31.3043478261+25.1428571429=56.447204969

    =56.4 seconds.

The absolute fastest would be 5 seconds with 4 BnP.

Okay Avatar-but-in-German is interesting and all but I'm here with some more maths.

By yourself with above perks with toolbox + BNP

I'm gonna do this calculation with a Commodious Toolbox, Socket Swivels, and a Brand New Part.

So, Commodious is +30% for 32 charges and Socket Swivels is another +30%.

A Brand New Part automatically repairs 15% of a generator, and hitting both skill checks grants another 10% for an automatic +25% over the course of 5 seconds. For the sake of my sanity, I'm counting these seperately.

So, 25% of a generator repaired over 5 seconds means we can cut down to 60 charges.

    32 charges get repaired at 1.75c/s, 28 at 1.15c/s.

    32/1.75=18.2857142857

    28/1.15=16

    So, 5 seconds + 16 seconds + 18.2857142857 = 39.2857142857

    = 39.3 seconds.

4 people on generator with Prove thyself

Just doing this one seperately as a base for the rest.

So, each survivor gets a 15% penalty for each other survivor on a gen, and Prove Thyself gives a 15% boost.

Each survivor therefore has a 45% penalty, leading to (1-0.45) charges going in a second. This 0.55 is then multiplied by 45%, to get 0.7975 charges in.

This leads to a total generator time of (80/0.7975), so 100.313479624.

However, we then divide this by 4, as there are 4 survivors putting these 0.7975 charges in, taking the speed down to 25.078369906

So, 25.1 seconds (which checks out with the wiki :D)

4 people on generator with Prove thyself & no toolbox but resilience and spine chill

So, we go back to 0.7975 charges in, but also add on 0.15 for Resilience and Spine Chill. 0.9475 charges in every second, 80/0.9475 gives us 84.4327176781, and we then divide that by 4 to get 21.1081794195.

    21.1 seconds.

4 people on generator with Prove thyself, above perks, optimal toolbox setup but no BNP

Oh boy these titles are getting long now.

Back to the 0.7975 base, same toolbox as before.

+60% speed for 44 charges, and then normal speed for the remaining 36.

Don't forget Resiliene and Spine Chill.

    (44/(0.7975+0.6+0.15)) + (36/(0.7975+0.15)) = 66.427679336405215664042352760645

Lord help me I don't like these numbers.

We then divide that all by 4 for 16.606919834101303916010588190161.

16.6 to save us. ######### me gently with a chainsaw.

4 people on generator with Prove thyself, above perks, toolbox & BNP

Shockingly this one is easy- 5 seconds. Each person does 25% in 5 seconds thanks to the BNP, 25*4 = 100%.

    conclusion

Avatar-but-in-German is a lot more fun when you're not doing maths but I'm watching it with someone special anyway so it's good.

Also the quickest you can go without BNP is 16.6 seconds, the quickest you can go with one is 5 seconds.

The quickest you can do solo is 39.3 seconds, assuming you're always injured and Spine Chill is always active.

    Hope I could help :)

Wdum intense, 16.606919834101303916010588190161 rolls off the tongue so easily!

(but seriously you're welcome man :))
