The Mirage: Maybelle Lake was a 1998 icon, who got famous in New Orleans for being beautiful and nice to everyone, she had the perfect life. Everyone loved her, they loved being around her...some more than others. In her early twenties, Maybelle was the life of the party and knew everyone, she met a doctor in a club one time, it was love at first sight for her but for him she was his next victim.
Obviously she wanted a closer look, inviting him for dinner a couple of nights, the first few weeks were bliss. The doctor, Luke, had a history of jealousy and had many restraining orders against him but Maybelle was so blinded by love to even see the bright red flags popping up everywhere, even when he did not like children. Maybelle had always wanted children and so she played child games, by herself, practicing for her child who she hoped to have. Soon after Maybelle became pregnant.
In the winter of 1998 Maybelle and Luke had a fight, one bigger than usual because Maybelle wanted to go hang out with friends that evening, she had a swollen belly but she wanted to go out before she finally was on bed rest. Five hours later her body was found cut in half eyes torn out, her and her five month old baby dead. The police never found the husband or evidence leading to him but they all had a gut feeling it was Luke who had done the deed.
Maybelle became enraged by how her killer was never convicted or punished so she became enraged, the entity sought out to her and offered her powers to find her loved one and punish him for what he did to her, so she took it. Survivors can still hear her cries yelling out for her baby girl, Josephine, when she sees someone she thinks its her baby so she tries to drag her victim to be like her so they can be together.

Askance: the killer will have a 8/10/14 radius of where the survivors auras are revealed every time either a generator is done or someone runs a vault/puts down a pallet.

after a survivor is unhooked for the first time you see their aura for 3/5/7 seconds
HEX DELUSION:
giving way to your anger once the exit gates are open you are able to create illusion for survivors of yourself, while they run away the exit gate progress is reduced by a 70/80/90% progress, you control your illusion but cannot hit the survivor, you can easily make that illusion real by "teleporting to it."
can only be used for 9/13/16 seconds and a cooldown of 15 seconds
