I just realised something......
I started playing dead by daylight when chapter 10 release back in 2018. I recently found some gameclips from 2018 and realised that the changes that these people are whining about were honestly needed. This game isnt dying, its being brought back to life. Dead by Daylight is headed in a very good direction wheither people like it or not.

for a dying game, i think DbD is doing pretty damn well right now.

On a genuine note here:
A part of the issue is that a lot of the people saying the game is dying are like the same that refuse to give usable feedback. They're the ones that will go on the ptb and play as if they are playing a regular match, not actually test stuff out. And THEN they'll complain about stuff they could have easily found while testing, had they actually tested.
lot of feedback also boils down to people not thinking practically with the changes they demand. granted, looking at some perks etc they have that in common with the devs at times... (seriously, bhvr, how did you not foresee original undying being broken af with ruin?)

I agree with this,,,DBD is the best game out there today. It is maddening at times but, that is not the games fault, it is weird players. I say that because I play solo survivor all the time and for the most part the games are great but sometimes you get "that team" who makes all the wrong choices lol. It is hard and sucks but you have to just move on to the next match. This is why I do whats called lobby shopping lol. This game isn't going anywhere but to newer and better heights esp with Resident Evil coming out here soon.

Anytime someone says a game is dying, I laugh and move on, because it's said about every game and most likely isn't gonna happen anyway.

This is an ongoing thing since 2k16. Every time exhaustion got nerfed, flashlights, add-ons, items, pallets everyone was losing their mind. Nowadays you are like: yea that was busted af.
But sometimes they change sth that you miss and what could've kept in the game. Like sabojuking

This game is still alive thanks to the casual people that buy skins. Many veteran people already got bored of the game and left.
Look, here i will show you hows the stuff going:
For example, lets say you like stranger things.
You like stranger things>discover DBD>buy stranger things dlc>buy demogorgon> buy demogorgon skin>you play demogorgon>you ask for help>you find this forum>people tell you the truth about DBD>you notice it>you keep playing demogorgon>feel underpowered>starting to get bored>leave the game.
Seems like nothing happened, but they already got your money, is all they wanted. Now they move on for the next victim. And so on, and on, and on.
