Why was breakdown buffed to permanently remove hooks from the game?
Why are all the squads running 4man breakdown no mither tonight?

It's okay. They'll bleed out eventually if they havent already got all the gens and left.

It's a bug. One that will hopefully soon be fixed.

Like @MadLordJack said, it is a bug. Let's hope it doesn't last as long as the Pallet Stun bug or the Hill of Death.

I've only been playing the game for a few months and you just piqued my curiosity, what's the Hill of Death?

You know those hills in various maps, that sometimes have totems on them or hooks?
You could get stuck on / in them. There was a little area at the bottom of the slope that goes up the hill where, once you walked in it, you could not leave anymore.

Here's some footage. It lasted like 5 months and not all hills were affected. For a moment, Hills were more feared than killers.

Yep, the Hills Were Hell.
Sometimes you could get free if you wiggled just right and often enough before you got found. Most times you watched as you were down and hooked without recourse.

Its a glitch as you can see after the 3 mins of breakdown duration the hook repair dust cloud appears but the hook doesn't get repaired.
