how to play with friends who have ps5's (im on pc)?

so two of my friends recently got ps5's and they have picked up dead by daylight. i know crossplay is a thing (ive played against crossplay players before) but i have no idea how to play with my two ps5 buds while im on pc. how do i do it? is there gonna be any limitations?

    There's a friend tab on the survivor/killer menu and you should have a code by your name, I think you send that to your friend and they enter it, then they should appear and be able to invite you.

    There are codes by your name when you pull up the in-game friend list.

    However, you can also just search for their regular name and have it pop up that way.

    This isn't working for me for some reason. I'm on xbox x and she's on ps4
