Please explain this to me. Rift confusing
So ,it says in the description that you can earn rift fragments by leveling up OR completing challenges. The problem is, the challenges don't actually give me anything but bloodpoints. I'm a little behind, i almost finished Tome IV, is that the problem? I have to catch up to the compendium, or what?

Only the most recent tome awards fragments, so doing challenges from tome 4 won't give you any.

You are doing old compendiums. Not the current one.

Old tomes don't give rift fragments. Only the new current tome that released alongside the new rift gives rift fragments until the rift closes, then it loses the rift fragments part of the rewards and keeps only BP.
If you care about leveling your rift, do only the new challanges.

If i select a challenge form the current Tome, it would still not show me the rift fragments. Do i have to first complete one?

Nope, you can jump straight to the most recent tome. It will still award you with rift fragments for completing them, even if it doesn't show anything before.
I save the old tomes for when I'm finished with the current active tome, or when there's no rift active.

I had no idea until reading this that you could do challenges from older tomes for the Bloodpoints. When I've completed the current one I'll go back to the others - I only started playing this year so there's loads to catch up on.

There should be a blue sign with a number next to the bloodpoints. Thats the amount of rift fragments you´ll get.
