Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

If Nemesis is the next killer, it wouldn't really need a rocket launcher

I've mentioned a few times how much i want Nemesis as the RE killer, and i've heard many people say how a rocket launcher won't work in the came. I can see why and even made a discussion asking how you would make a rocket launcher work.

But if we think about it, Nemesis wouldn't need a rocket launcher, the Devs could give it new abilities.

I haven't played Silent Hill, but i have see Pyramid Head in gameplay and i don't think it leaves a wired trail behind.

Maybe the Devs could give Nemesis a new ability, maybe something to do with tentacles or its ability to mutate

What do you guys think?

The thing is about crossovers is you got to adapt it to the gameplay itself. Yeah Pyramid head doesn't usually leave trails or launch a ranged attack but if we had actual Pyramid Head we would take 3 minutes to get to the other side of the map.

Rocket Launcher sounds op but there has to be some kind of restriction for that to happen, also might be a little to extreme for DBD lol.

I'd give Nemesis the rocket launcher but make it like the Plague's corrupt purge, not something he can pull out willy nilly. And it would be hard to land hits with it, and maybe only oneshot if it's a direct hit. It wouldn't be the primary power either way, that would be the tentacle and probably an infection mechanic to go with it.

Even if he had a rocket launcher he ain't hitting #@$% with it. Storm Troopers have better accuracy than him.

He doesn't need any weapons. He's got his tentacles, mobility, insane resilience, and sonic roar (remake exclusive, if the devs go down that route).

A Rocket Launcher could work like Clowns bottles; a splash attack. Only launched instead of a throwing arc:

Fire Rockets: Leave burning ground that deals 1 health state when walked in. Will deal a second health state if not left in time, or reentered.

Smoke Rockets: Survivors in the smoke cough and suffer from Blindness.

Acid Rockets: Survivors suffer form Slowdown.

    Etc. Etc.

The Pyramid Head’s during James’ trial used spears, however the pyramid head seen the most used a knife

I like the idea of either Nemesis using a rocket launcher with various status effects and a radius of impact, yet is only effective when fired at a distance, or having Nemesis able to evolve throughout the trial into a stringer form.

Maybe if he Mori's a survivor, that corpse could return as a zombie! Although that may be a bit problematic.

Fire and Acid, yes. Not Smoke. Or, at least, not that I know of.

I put Smoke in instead of Cryo/Ice because it would be a more balanced effect. Then again; Survivors slipping on an ice patch and forced to slide in 1 direction for the duration would be funny.

For the Nemesis and the rocket launcher, I still think Nemesis could have the rocket launcher as a 1 time use weapon the whole trial. Whoever it hits is instantly put into the dying state and the splash damage will injure anyone immediately nearby for a single health state. But, Nemesis would only have that one shot, miss...and tough luck. Plus he wouldn't start with it and there would be no aura reading to help find it. But, I don't think it should be his primary ability. It'd be a one time use secondary ability. One you would have to think carefully before using. Perhaps an add-on would allow it to respawn once or more? Might need more thought put into it. (Though I will agree that Nemesis doesn't need it.)

It's so silly how some people have reduced Nemesis as a character into a rocket launcher. I mean there's more to him than just " oh look there's that rocket launcher guy"; I'm sure that if he were to be added it wouldn't be that difficult to come up with some other weapon.
