Deathslinger Locked in Chain if Survivor DC's While Chained

As title.
Step 1: Shoot chain at survivor
Step 2: Be reeling them in
Step 3: They dc from the match.
Chain hangs in mid-air, sound plays, timer runs out without anything happening. Your movement gets wonky and you can no longer move normally but you can do a basic attack. it's happened 2/2 for me in the past two days, with both instances of survivors dc'ing on chain causing it.
