Banned temporary for Disconnecting from Wi-fi

I am getting over being banned because I DC due to WIFI problems. I get that leavers should be punished for leaving midgame but honestly there should be some form of Acceptation for people who don't get the choice when they DC from WIFI Issues. I love playing DBD and i have been playing more often recently to get better because I'm not the best, but i cant do that if I'm constantly getting banned for something i cant control. I mean yeah people who leave are annoying because they are throwing their team under the bus but people who are forced out a game didn't do that on purpose, so why should they be punished because they cant change the outcome of a situation

I can't imagine you would be getting much better at the game if you are constantly getting disconnected from the game due to wifi issues either.

You should really figure out how to fix your internet issues if it's a constant enough problem that you are getting long d/c penalities.

So you're aware going into each match that you may be kicked out ruining the game for your team yet you continue anyways? You're as bad as people who dc as far as I'm concerned.

Wether it's intentional or not, if you lose connection you are still ruining the game for 4 other people. If this happens enough that the bans begin to matter then you should take the hint and stop playing online games

Don't play an online only game if your internet can't handle it. I know it sucks i also had to stop playing for like a month because of internet issues. But that the rules.

The bans are handed out to those that disconnect. It doesn't matter how you disconnect

So if I want to dc but don’t want any punishment I can just interrupt the WiFi signal? You realize that this would basically mean free dcs for everyone who want it?

fix your WiFi issues or use a lan cable. This is a multiplayer online game, you should have a stable connection I order to play it.

You know what, forget i even said anything. I mean yeah you have a good point but like I'm really not planning on letting the game i spent a fair amount of money on just sit on my laptop. Yeah i find it just as annoying when someone disconnects but i deal with it and try to work harder. I'm not a technician or a computer geek, idk what is wrong with my WIFI. all i know is it's possibly got something to do with the heat of my laptop which i cant change because as I said I'm not a computer geek or technician, the laptop has a built-in fan that is always on max when I'm playing games. I get your frustration but I came here looking for some form of help or assistance on the matter, or to at least bring light upon an issue that others may be having. I really wasn't expecting a bunch of strangers on the internet to snap back at me because they don't agree since they don't share the same problem. People who have this issue shouldn't just have to stop playing the game they really enjoy playing because of issues they have no control over. Unfortunately people cant just pull money out of nowhere to fix problems like these.

An ethernet cable is dirt cheap and will help stabilize your connection to your router.

People who have this issue shouldn't just have to stop playing the game they really enjoy playing because of issues they have no control over.

People don't have control over a game's minimum specs. What they do is they find a game that their PC (and Internet connection, if needed) can handle. They don't buy games that their setup can't handle and then complain that their setup can't handle them. Sorry, but this is 100% on you.

If you want to attempt to appeal your DC penalty, you are free to do so here: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000836752

Please keep in mind though, connection and your specs are also your responsibility to take care of. The game has minimum specs for a reason, that goes for the internet too, in which they ask for a Broadband Internet connection.
