Does the new OoO show the aura of the killer only when you look at them?
Basically title, i don't really understand how the new OoO works when you are the obsession, every 30 seconds you can see the killer's aura and vice-versa, but do you have to look in their direction like old OoO or it doesn't matter?
Every 30 seconds the killer can see your aura no matter what?

OoO's main effect is showing you aura of the killer when yours is shown - for example he sees you with BBQ, you see him too, he sees you with nurses, you see him too.
The obsession gets the added effect that every 30s your aura is shown to the killer which causes you to see them as well even if you don't look at them.
Same happens if you're affected by blindness which impaires you aura reading so you can't see killer each tic of those 30s but he can see you since his aura reading isn't impaired.

Also, if the Killer is in that status effect that makes him undetectable; he can see you if any of his aura reading perks pop, but you cannot see him.
At least as far as I understand.

Correct, but the perk still lights up, which will still let you know what perks the killer's running.
