Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

DBD Killer Classes

I wanted to sort the killers into classes based on their most effective playstyles, so here we are.

Chasers:

Killers that are rooting their powers on their ability to end chases quickly.

Huntress, Cannibal, Clown, Executioner, Deathslinger, Trickster

Stealth:

Killers that pride themselves on their ability to ambush survivors and stay undetected. Able to achieve very good early games.

Wraith, Ghostface

Disablers:

Killers with inbuilt ability to slow game progress and stop survivors from completing objectives, or cripple opponents with their abilities.

Pig, Plague, Legion, Doctor

Mobility:

Killers who's main powers allow them to traverse the map at high speeds and get to places faster than usual. Abilities may have inherent / powerful chase ability.

Blight, Spirit, Hillbilly

Trapsetter:

Killers that require prep time to set up their traps.

Hag, Trapper

Hybrid Megaclass

Hybrids are a mix of two or more classes, with abilities that can serve multiple purposes.

Hybrid Mobility / Chaser:

Demogorgon, Nurse

Hybrid Mobility / Trapsetter

Nightmare

Hybrid Stealth / Chaser

Michael Myers

Mobility / Disabler

Twins

Mobility / Stealth

Wraith

Hybrid Snowballer

A unique class with only one member. They can use their power for all of the above purposes with the sole weakness of requiring some time to reach full potential.

Edit: Forgot some killers and created respective categories, added a visual tier list if you don't like reading.

I wanted him and Billy there specifically because his ability, like Billy's, has an incredibly fast recharge and has a focus on mobility. If I put one in a specific hybrid class it's because their powers have two specific uses that don't overpower the other. If they are in a non-hybrid class it's because one of their power's uses has a more clear use than the other :)
