Trapper's my go to when I just want square games.
Bring a Trapper bag. Always. You want to be able to pick up multiple traps. Think of what you would do as a survivor and where you wouldn't want a trap to be. Put a trap there. Sometimes grass isn't always the best spot. If you can choke an area or deny one, go ahead and drop a trap. So what if it gets disarmed.
That said, put down only one trap tops before you start your patrol. It doesn't matter how well your traps are placed if they finish the generators in peace.
My Trapper uses Corrupt Intervention, Ruin, and usually two meme perks. Lately it has been Haunted Grounds and Blood Warden for those final 'traps'.
You can usually do well, but the less gen defense you have the more aggressive you need to be.

Thanks! By the way, I forgot to add that I'm kinda short on some perks, so my current build with perks I have will be Ruin, Undying, BBQ, Surge.

Anytime. Pretty much anything will work on Trapper because he's a 115% speed killer and even if you don't trap anyone the entire game just solid loop play can still bring down a team. You can catch a lot of people off guard with him and you never know what he's running. Is this Trapper a newbie? Is he 1k hours+? Everyone has a Trapper. You never know.

Yeah trap loops and your totems as soon as possible you can be down to 4 gens and then start snowballing like crazy...add ons you want a trapper bag and either a one that darkens traps or one that injures survivors who try to disarm your traps...corrupt is a Godsend to give you time to set up and avoid gen rush or try a full totem build ruin haunted grounds undying thrill of the hunt massive fun
