Separate ranks for different killers
I play survivor and killer, and I am currently maining huntress and hag.
However, I am rank 5-8 it varies from time to time of course, but honestly, it is not fun trying to learn a new killer. Sure I have some knowledge of the game, survivor and killer tactics, but it would be nice for example to have killers at different ranks. That way if matchmaking was somewhat addressed, the game would feel a little more fair.
Its not a great experience to try out a new killer with hardly any perks and be placed in the same type of match I would be as a killer I main, and I am sure I am not the only one who finds trying out a new killer quite tiring and frustrating.
I am not suggesting a rank 1 killer main tries out a new killer and starts off at rank 20. Thats clearly nonsensical. But perhaps a rank 1 killer main who starts a new killer could start off as a rank 10? A rank 10 killer start off as a rank 15? A rank 15 start off as a rank 20? You get the gist..
This would also be a nice addition to the game, because then we can all visibly see which killers we're doing very well with and others which we may need to practice more.

That's something that's coming when the MMR system is implemented. Not ranks to be fair, but killer-specific MMR is coming Soon™
It's actually the reason you can't change killer in the lobby anymore. That exact system is gathering data in the background even though it's still in development.

When the MMR arrives it will work with different ranks, they didnt give a date tho so it may be tomorrow or in 2 years.

Well that makes it sound like it's not intentional behavior at all, I'm not aware of that anyway. Certainly completely invalidates any data the MMR system could gain from that match.
