Is it possible to rank up to red ranks by playing casually.
Is there any casual killers in red rank? Because most red ranks killer I go against don't seem to be casual.

Up to red ranks, yes, you can pretty much play a little more chill and give hatch every game and still progress
Once in red ranks, if you're trying to get to rank one, giving hatch or playing more casually will probably mean safety pips or sometimes depips, unfortunately
I'd hazard a guess that a lot of the killers in red ranks though start out a game session playing casually, then get punished for it by getting stomped into the dirt by a good team slamming out all the gens in 4 minutes, so they stop playing casually. That's pretty much how the game goes. If both sides are playing casually, it's fun. If only one side is playing casual, it's miserable for that side

I have to agree playing casually in red ranks as a killer is basically impossible. Even as survivor in red ranks playing casually is pretty hard. But not as hard as killer. Everyone wants to play sweaty, like if this was some tournament lol.

Yes depend the time you play lets say you play during the day game are chill after 7 pm that when the swf come out so most of you game you need to sweat. If you play after midnight then you will face the sweaty 4 man swf now its a nightmare you dont want to play during those hour cause of my job when i play its after midnight so i drop the game because its not fun

Actually a lot of people say that night time is when you get sweaty squads. But from my experience I find that nighttime is when people tend to play more chill, since I get put vs mixed ranks. But the few times I played during the day I found that is when I get placed vs the sweaty rank 1 survivors.

I think this depend on the region

Definitely is. I suck ass every game and still manage to always stay on red ranks somehow.

You can easily get red ranks on killer playing casually. I got to rank 5 in 6 weeks having never played the game before on console. I was probably playing like 8 hours a week. I got bored playing the same killer all the time and facing pretty much exclusively red ranks with a few purple ranks here & there. I started playing weaker killers and trying out different builds etc and deranked to 7/8. It's more enjoyable at that rank & you get more of a mixture of ranks. Still face a lot of red ranks and SWF, but it's not like every game.
If you really want to get into the red ranks casually just play a strong killer and focus on getting a good perk set up. It's basically just a matter of time played after that and you'll eventually get there.

Yep I'm rank 1. Yet get de-ranked after losing a couple of matches, when I play chill. But I still manage to get up to rank 1 when I try-hard lol. But I don't feel like playing sweaty all the time.
