Can people stop being so streamer sided
I complained about slinger about few months ago and people were like "Gitgud" "lol what a noob" "just dodge bro". And then zubatlel just posted a vid of how op slinger is and everyone was like "yeah yeah agree" "no counterplays indeed" "Slinger players are trash". JUst how and why? Just because he is famous? So everything he does and says are correct?
And then there is a streamer I played against, he was so toxic which used an op iri head addon I hope you all know what it is, and even with noed, facecamping, me and the others ez won against him and his chat was like "Aww dirty gen rushers" "Deliverance op" "Its fine the game is unbalanced". And when I DO IT PEOPLE ARE TELLING ME TO F OFF OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. JUST Stop

You're surprised that people watch those that share the same opinion?
The majority of streams are an echo chamber because people gravitate towards those who have the same opinion, it's not a bad thing honestly especially when there are so many differing opinions for this game and it's balance.

Are you really surprised that people who follow someone for content are going to side with that person's opinion? People are tribal. Perspectives are easily skewed. Don't expect any of a streamer's followers to side with common sense if common sense goes against what the streamer says, especially not if the streamer in question acts toxic - because then their following is going to be made up of the kind of people that love toxicity and you're better off staying far away from them.

Streamers and "Youtubers / e-celebs" in general annoy me. I'd prefer to come to my own conclusions about my games and be playing them instead of watching someone else do so.

I think I know which video you are talking about and honestly that video didn't really showcase Slinger being OP.
Many of the survivors just ran out in the open away from LoS blockers. Not to mention the map was Sanctum of Wrath which is one of the better maps for Slinger due to how small and open the map is.

Sadly the majority of people don't form opinions by themselves but just copy those of the people they admire.

Whilst streamers do play it for a living, they are also vulnerable to develope blind-spots.
You know when you start a new job and early on you spot something that could be improved, but wonder why nobody else had seen it before? That's how the blind-spot works. If someone just powers on at the same job for a long time, they don't necessarily get better; they can become disillusioned.
You're absolutely right in what you say. People need to believe in their own experiences, rather than live through the opinions of others. Doesn't mean streamers are not right - they do have experience - but if you discover something does/ doesn't work with with you, it doesn't matter what a streamer thinks. If it works by you, then that's what matters.

Yep, you're right. EVERYONE was like "no git gud" and then EVERYONE was like "yep, totally agree". Sure.
It's not like different people could have different opinions.

Yep had a guy saying the legion is he weakest killer in the game. Just because they cause survivor to split up. And how some streamers claimed wraith is weak, but I never saw him as weak, I always saw him as a decent killer.
