Speculation for the Resident Evil Chapter
Hello everyone! I'm really excited about the Resident Evil Chapter in Dead By Daylight. So I've come up with speculation on what I think the Map, Survivors, and The Killer would be. I hope BHVR and Capcom stick to the first three Resident Evil games. Those being Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3. I feel like these games should be chosen since they all started in the same area, near and in Raccoon City, and around the same time, that being the same year. So let's begin.
First off the Map. Now there are two possible choices that could be the new map
- A map that takes place in the Arklay mountains in the forest with some elements of Spencer's mansion. Can have different Variants.
- A map taking place in Raccoon City, mainly the city, and some elements of the RPD station also with different variants.
I feel like the basement should have a completely different appearance. It should have an appearance of an underground laboratory just like in the games.
Survivors I think should be Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine since they're the most iconic male and female character from Resident Evil.
The Killer should be Nemesis also named "The Tyrant"
I think it should be Nemesis because of his ability potential and without completely changing his character. Meaning using his strength, speed, tentacle pull/Thrust, and maybe infecting survivors with the T-Virus (meaning he has to hit the survivors with his tentacle, just like he did to Jill in the 1999 version.) He won't have any weapons like a rocket launcher, flame thrower, and minigun. No guns. I love Nemesis but I don't want to see him in dbd with weapons. I'm alright with him just punching people.
Power: Nemesis-T type
The Tyrant use's the NE-α parasite and the strength of the T-103 Tyrant to attack and infect the survivors from a distance and pressure them with brute force.
Nemesis-T type: Press and hold the power button to make use of the NE-α parasite. The Tyrant protrudes a tentacle from its hand. Press the attack button to perform a tentacle thrust attack. Once a survivor is hit with the attack the survivor is unable to move for 5 seconds. As well as The Tyrant. The Tyrant can either choose to infect or pull the Survivor. When pressing the attack button again during the 5-second stun, The Tyrant injures and infects the survivor with the T-Virus while giving them the hindered status effect for 10 seconds.
Special Attack: Pull
Press the power button again, if the survivor is stunned with the Nemesis-T type. The Tyrant will pull the survivor closer to it. This does not infect the survivor with the T-Virus.
Special Ability: T- Virus
When survivors are infected with the T-Virus, they have to look around the map for Umbrella Work Stations to develop a cure. Survivors must complete a puzzle in order to make the cure, if the survivor fails the puzzle or runs out of time They must find another Umbrella Work Station. The cure makes the survivor immune to all infections throughout the rest of the trial. If a survivor runs out of time for the infection they become a Zombie. Zombies move at the speed of a survivor in the dying state and can injure the survivor. Although they can be easily avoided. Since they're loud and move really slow. They can injure and pass the t-virus to a survivor who hasn't been infected yet. The survivor can hit a tremendously difficult skill check to push back the zombie to avoid being injured and infected. If a survivor is injured the zombie will put the survivor into the dying state.
The Tyrant can see white auras of the zombies and use them as an obstacle during a chase. An example being, You're chasing a survivor and the survivor runs into the zombie. A free hit for you.
Zombies can also be killed with the use of pallets. Although since they move slow luring a zombie to a pallet would take time and can waste a pallet Unless you have the perk Any Means Necessary which will make the pallet usable again. You could move a Zombie towards the very corner of the map so it won't be a threat.
Special ability: Unrelenting Chase
Passively it fills itself, similar to the doctor's area shock and Freddy's teleport.
I think it's should have a 180-second charge fills, leading the nemesis into his Unrelenting chase. It fills up slowly. when he's in a chase the time for him to fill up his Unrelenting chase meter goes faster. And when a pallet drops on him it fills a chunk of the meter. Once filled the nemesis stands still and yells out “staaaaaaars” and every survivor on the map can hear him, signifying that nemesis is in Unrelenting chase .
What does Unrelenting chase do? Well, it makes him faster, like oni demon dash but a little slower. When Nemesis is in Unrelenting chase he can also break pallets faster and destroy breakable walls faster and can break anything just by using the melee button. I think the Unrelenting chase should last 15,20 or 30 seconds, and when a survivor gets picked up the Unrelenting chase resets. When Nemesis hits a survivor with his melee it puts the survivor into the dying state and Nemesis's Unrelenting chase resets.
Design and Cosmetic for Nemesis. Nemesis should have its stage one appearance with some aspects from the 1999 version and the RE3 Remake. Its cosmetic choice would be its second stage from the 1999 version, it would have tentacles protruding from Nemesis's upper body.
I would make some perks for Nemesis but I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions first about my speculation for the Resident Evil chapter and concept power for Nemesis. If there is any request for me to make a concept for any Resident Evil character that could potentially be the killer I would love to do it.
