I’ve been seeing a lot of discussions about people’s favourite songs so I thought we could talk about our favourite bands too! I’ll put my top 5 favourites here

  1. Volbeat (Best album is Guitar gangsters and Cadillac blood)
  2. System of a down (Best album is Hypnotise)
  3. Clutch (Psychic warfare is the best)
  4. Amon Amarth (Twilight of the thunder god is the best)
  5. Avenged seven fold (Hail to the king is my favourite)

    Set it Off and Get Scared, love everything they have both made.

    Should add my favourite songs they've made is probably Killer in the mirror (Set it Off), Sarcasm and Don't you dare forget the Sun (Get Scared).

    The Fratellis, Gogol Bordello, Electric Six, the Clash, Rammstein/Lindemann, David Bowie, Prince, Beastie Boys, Black Keys, Real McKenzie, the Meters, Devo, Foo Fighters, Jeff Buckley, the Kills, Dead Weather, Alice Cooper, Kaiser Chiefs, Frank Zappa, Biz Markie, Rancid, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Cake, Dropkick Murphys, Stooges/Iggy Pop, Pink Floyd, Primus/Les Claypool, NOFX, Stone Temple Pilots (only with Scott Weiland), Pfunk/George Clinton, Nirvana.

    Will Wood and the Tapeworms.

    They have a fairly free-form and surreal style that's incredibly satisfying to listen to by design.

    Love Me Normally is a good song to start with if you wanna try them out.

    Slipknot, My Chemical Romance, Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, Famous Last Words, Shadow of Intent, Monochromatic Black, Bloodbath, Nirvana, Pantera, Beartooth, Green Day, All Time Low, Bring me the Horizon, Linkin Park, Korn, and BABYMETAL. Quite a few lol.

    SOAD and Clutch are damn good bands, you've got good taste. I like a bunch of ######### really lol. Daughters, Nine Inch Nails, Chrome Corpse, Vashti Bunyan, etc. Lots of good music out there

    Beartooth, Avatar, August Burns Red, Ice Nine Kills, Whitechapel, Carnifex, Dying Fetus, Bloodbath, Decapitated, Fit For A King, Gojira, Killswitch Engage, Light The Torch, Kublai Khan, Motionless In White, Shadow of Intent, Synthetic Torture...

    Most of the posts in this thread mention bands that have something on my playlist, as well as I listen to just about everything. Otherwise, to add my notables...

    Type O Negative, Fields of the Nephilim, Avatar, Rolling Stones.

    I also have an unhealthy soft spot for bubblegum pop trash hits.
