Kill Switch update: Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

What if you couldn't choose sides?

What if dbd had a system like F13 where you had a "chance" to be the killer out of the lobby?

I'd probably bail real quick..

Looking for opinions.

It'd probably be plagued with the same issue of "I didn't get to play (fill in the blank), so I'm going to just DC" as F13 honestly.

I'd bail on the game pretty quick as well.

I think I’d dig that! If you could set your killer and your survivor and play whoever! That would be a cool game mode to add, and I’d use it all the time.

F13 did away with that super quickly because people hated it. Playing Jason was an exercise in humiliation for me. But regardless, sometimes I'm in the mood for survivor, sometimes killer. If it was random I probably wouldn't play.

Great idea in theory. I'd love people to actually have to play the other side occasionally. It doesn't actually work in practice though.

now THAT would be a reason for me to quit DbD.
this is one of my biggest issues with F13, if this got implemented in DbD, i'd quit ASAP.

I wish we had this option with SWF. Playing 5 friends together and one is chosen randomly to play as a killer. It would be fun.

Daily rituals and events are already good options to bring variation for main players. Don't force people to play what they don't want, this will kill the playerbase. Especially now with dbd beeing 2 years like how it is now
