Okay Resident Evil fans, one last question.
And this is the last one, I promise. This isn't so much about Resident Evil as it is Capcom themselves.
In your opinion, do you think Capcom is going to be as strict about skins as Konami is? With Cheryl and Pyramid head, all the sets are linked, even the non-legendary ones. If Capcom lets BHVR give us more skins, do you think they'll be all linked? Or do you think they'll be more lax about things, like Netflix with Stranger Things?
Legendaries (if we get them) are obviously going to be linked like all the others, but I'm more talking about just any common ones. Different outfits for whatever characters we get.

No. Capcom should be much more easy going with skins than Konami.

Consider how liberal Capcom are with mixing their own licenses together
- Dead Rising 4 has a whole mode where you play as other Capcom characters
- Devil May Cry 5 has the Mega Man Mega Buster weapon
- Street Fighter 5 has tons of costumes from their various IPs
And many many more
Capcom seems to be one of the more crossover friendly companies, probably because they know how lucrative it is

That's definitely refreshing to hear (or read, I guess). I don't have too much experience with Capcom, so I was worried we'd get another chapter with basically no customization options.

Capcom is in no way strict about their property as Konami I imagine - I mean Resident Evil has had a lot of crossovers.
Resident Evil 6 had a cross promotion with Left 4 Dead 2 - You can play Left 4 Dead 2 characters in Mercenaries in RE6 and Left 4 Dead 2 has official workshop submissions from Capcom for special infected replacements.
PUBG Mobile had a cross promotion
The Division 2 had a cross promotion
Monster Hunter World had a cross promotion with Resident Evil granted this is Capcom's game as well.
Capcom uses Resident Evil in promotions quite frequently. Capcom in my eyes is in no way strict about their property because they know the fans love content from it. Capcom is also known to wildly experiment with their property even if fans don't like it. I feel we'll get a mix of linked skins and unlinked skins but for Resident Evil I don't mind linked stuff.

Capcom doesn't have their heads as far up their asses as Konami, so probably not.

Cool! Now a part of me is hoping for a Frank West legendary skin (or Paragraph) eventually.

Hell, they added bad box art megaman to their games:

There's tons of potential for a Dead Rising Chapter. I'd buy it
Not sure who the killer would be though, since the franchise doesn't really have consistent villians but a lot of the psychopaths would make for good cosmetics/legendaries. An Adam themed set for Clown/Hillbilly or a Cliff Hudson skin for Trapper

Sometimes I'm still shocked that BHVR managed to get a Silent Hill chapter considering how infamously bad Konami are to work with.

Yeah, it really is a miracle. Can't wait for the official Dead by Daylight pachinko machine lol

There's a part of me that thinks Dead Rising would be better as a paragraph, like Ash vs Evil Dead. Especially if he talked too.
Imagine, you're just sitting there, staring at a lobby full of survivors...
"I've covered wars, ya know!"

Definitely not.
Thankfully, Capcom is far less strict with their licenses than Konami.

I agree
Although I think BHVR has stopped doing paragraphs, the last one we got was Ghost Face and he came out so long ago now.
Maybe they want to stay consistent with their content? (Which if so, they haven't necessarily stayed true to it due to us not getting a new map since last year's anniversary)

Depends on the skins. The most skins we'll probably get will be linked I'd say. Not because they want to but just because of the skin. We'll probably get a TON of legendaries which of course be be all linked. I do think they'd go with a bunch of linked skins. You want RE4 Leon? You have to wear it all at once. I don't think they'd be doing it for money specifically because... Well Capcom cares about money but don't care about Behaviours money that much since Capcom makes way more themselves already. But Capcom likes to take care of their characters. Even just their costumes. They want them to always look good so putting on Leon's RE4 jacket with the thick RE2 legs he might look weird and they might not want that. Or Claire with her remake pants but her classic jacket.

Bear in mind that this isn't just Capcoms decision though. If BHVR wants those sets to be linked because they'll make more money out of it, then they probably will. I don't blame them though. RE is a huge franchise and people are probably going to be willing to buy skins without really caring too much about it.

There probably going to be link ,I doubt they would want their Ip's looking abominable, I'm sure there aware of linked and unlinked cosmetics, and I hope they do link them i would hate to play a match against a Lady MrX Nemesis thing.

But that wouldn't be how it worked, if BHVR wanted to make more money, it would make sense to sell unlinked outfits for 2 main reasons:
1) Buying outfit pieces individually costs more than buying the full outfit.
2) Customisation is a big part of this game, that's why so many people are reluctant to buy linked and legendary cosmetics, you can't add your own spin to them.

Have you seen how many skins capcom gives to the RE characters?
I'll be surprised if there's less than 5
3 -
I am personally just praying to the entity that a legendary skin for Regina from Dino Crisis would be allowed. Beyond that, I think Capcom cares about their fan's enjoyment more than Konami does so who knows what they agreed to. Anything could be possible.

If you saw resistance's skins, I'd expect alot to be in game

Capcom is *usually* pretty good about working with other companies doing cross overs. I can see them allowing some really cool extras for the game.

They'll likely all be legendary but not because of capcom, it will be down to BHVR because that will make them more money.

Dante appears in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne.
This should give you a good idea of Capcom.

Of course capcom would be not that strict.
