God damn it this is so annoying
I can't play a match with the stupid charm without everyone trying to farm with me. Like, farming is the most boring thing you could possibly do in this game. I just want to have a normal match for Christs sake!
I've had to stop wearing it, and dodge lobbies when people have it just to have fun games.
For the people who are doing this, I get that you're trying to be supportive, but no one is wearing this to farm. No one is wearing this as a free escape card. Just play normally!
Sorry about the angry post but this is frustrating.

I don't farm either, but if I see a pride charm I usually do give hatch.

I think his problem is not giving hatch to the last one but farming from the start or trying to force this situation at some point.

Im heterosexual so maybe Im wrong or my opinion is a bit weird but I would find it patronizing and condescending for players to give me a free escape or trying to farm just because of the pride charm, I mean I play games to have fun and a challenge not to be treated different even if they have good intentions.

I literally pay zero attention to charms. They could just not exist and I wouldn't care.

In my opinion I don't want killers or survivors to treat me any better or worse because of my pride charm. It's actually insulting even though it's coming from a good place. From someone who is gay please just play the game normally.

I'm not giving anyone the hatch for any reason other than they impressed me in the match, going above and beyond for their team, tricking me into falling down a hole, fighting to the bitter end even though they have no chance. I support what the charm stands for, but it buys nobody special treatment, positive or negative, inside the match.

I've been wearing the pride charm and my matches have been normal. 😕
As in... dying on first hook because my random teammates left me to go to 2nd stage, chickened out last second to they couldn't make it in time.

No it's not the charm. I'm killing everyone equally, how I kill you is my choices as killer. That being said, do not blame me for bigotry because you chose to wear something and your skills failed you. All the salty messages because you die while sporting a charm is uncalled for.

You were just unlucky with your matches. That behavior is certainly not the norm if there is a pride charm in a match neither is tunneling or camping because of the charm.

I have yet to see a killer farm because of the charm and personally I'll never farm with someone over a charm. I don't even farm because friends are in my match.

As a bi guy, under my rainbow, i dont see a difference. I dont mind a killer killing me even if he has the pride charm on hook. As killer, i will not focus a prider or be more nice to him than others just because he wears it. Im still sensible to it but lets not starting to fear to kill priders or to tbag them. Lets play normal no matters the side since ITS A NORMAL THING.

Fair enough, but I think wearing it and/or displaying it on your hook is what most would want. I know I'd be mad as hell if I thought you only gave me the hatch because of my charm.

I... don't even notice the charms as killer, if I'm being 100% honest. I have the same mentality as Dimek up there. Me see survivor, me kill. Don't really care what they're wearing or who they're playing, I'm an equal opportunity killer.

I farm as killer but I've been doing that since before the pride charm. It's so much easier to get the "in one game" challenges done when you farm. 😂

If your in my lobby only skill/ if I’m goofing/ luck determines if you escape like I have friends that are part of it and they don’t want special or different treatment so why would I give it to people either in pride or supporting it any different then someone who’s not

I know the answer but if i get report for toxic by the survivor when in my eyes this is not toxic and they say he tunnel me cause i got the pride charm its a homophobic killer. The fact remain i tunnel him and its the survivor point of view vs the killer point of view.

this is not something that will lead to a ban if it only happens once. They have to provide proof that you actually harass players with the charms kk multiple matches or you admit to it in the endgame chat.
bust play normally and don’t be a d to players just because they are wearing the charm and you are good. Nothing will happen.

For now im not scare of the false review its later when the auto ban come to live. But i just read on another post that the dev said if you say nothing in the end game chat the killer should be safe

Then your fear has literally nothing to do with the pride charm. Those claims could very well be made if you Tunnel a character that is a person of color.
those concerns belong to their own thread. And by now it’s clear that literally no one thinks autoban is a good idea.

People are afraid to chase people with the flag charm. I've had killers tell me they're too scared that they might be accused of harassment if they even go after someone with it on since they're afraid of being reported. Hell, I even had a killer who only killed me because I wasn't wearing the charm then got mocked by the survivors for being a "gay hater" and not supporting them. It is what it is.

I hate farming unless there's 2 or more BPS. If not then ill play as sweaty as I can. Tunneling the weakest link wether they have the charm or not I dont care. And ill slug for the 4k I'm not ashamed of winning.

My main thing is play seriously until I have 2 hooks on everyone and have otherwise accomplished my goals for the match (max points, daily, what have you) then in fine kicking back and letting Survivors go.
I don't out and out farm unless there's a stupid early d/c, and that's at much to make the game worthwhile for those still around as it is punishing the guy who didn't.

This is likely a direct result of people doing the exact opposite in singling out and tunneling/camping folks who they see wearing the charm. Of course when people do that, you're going to see people doing the exact opposite in return. In fact, people are going to go out of their way. When there's a potential that people are acting in a homophobic manner, most of the general community, which is very supportive of LGBTQ, are going to make sure to offer up a different experience.
