Is Starstruck OP?

Started using it today on my Doc, as I wanted to see how it fared against overly altruistic survivors. I've only gotten it to work once, twice at best, per match, so it's not like I'm 4k slugging every time.

And yet, I'm still getting hate mail over my usage of 'a broken perk,' even though the most impact I've had was one game against a clicky clicky SWF who kept trying to bully. While I understand that I should take survivor bming as just that at face value, it does make me curious. Is Starstruck in a good spot, or does it have potential to be nerfed?

It's actually kinda weak unless you're nurse. It's perfect against toxic SWF that follow you around to body block you and try to blind you with flashlights. Had a match with Trapper in which I downed someone and then his SWF came to the rescue so I ended up with all 4 of them downed because of Agitation + Starstruck

The perk is more a deterrent than anything because it tells the survivors they're Exposed. If anything Starstruck is too weak because of that.

No. Maybe somewhat on nurse, which is the issue having killers with a massive strength gap (see also infectious fright)

I think starstruck is fine. it's not a perk I would use much though.

Starstruck is fine. It’s just that with how popular BBQ is, Survivors don’t like the idea of a perk that makes it dangerous to get within proximity of a survivor about to be hooked.

No, Starstruck isn't OP. But it can be strong on certain killers (Specifically Nurse).

It's up for debate but it is a good perk. If used in right build it can be really handy. I think it works well just like any other perk. Especially paired with Make Your Choice. But yes it is situational sometimes. I'd have to agree it is probably best with a killer that can teleport around the map. I think it would go well with Demogorgon too.

Starstruck is only OP on the Hag. Every else, it’s fine

Never heard of Nurse blink? With hag you'd need your trap to be at the right place at the right moment which won't happen the entire game while Nurse, well Nurse can blink when ever she want.

Hag, Nurse, and MAYBE Blight. Any Killer that can very rapidly get close and spread the love. There simply aren't many of them, and Blight is even iffy on account of the timer attached to the perks affect. He might not be able to get close enough before it's up.

its strong but fine, plus you wont really get a massive amount of value on killers that cant either end a chase quick or can sneak up on survivors easily. Personally i've been running it on my wraith with agitation, works pretty well.

Those are just the worst as her terror radius is almost map wise but she still very strong with that perk on other map.
