Camo Traps

The game has become so bright on alot of maps that the tar bottle addon seems to make the trap even more visible by contrast.

Can we get a trap graphic rework or an add-on that blends the trap with where it's placed?

Better yet make his traps tar bottle base. He shouldn’t need a addon to hide his traps when hags already do

Personally I'd just be happy if the maps were darkened a bit back down but you bring up a good point.

    Pipe dream solution:

Trapper's traps are tinted slightly to match whatever realm he spawns in. Addons just make the tint even more pronounced

I like this idea. Poor Trapper needs help.

As Trapper main, I dont think darken trap should be a basekit. On many maps, Tar bottle gives you ability to set trap in open place and survivors dont see it. Which is powerful.

Default traps should be only placed in well hidden place (grass & steps..). The problem that the grass & steps on some maps are very little to make trap work (especially in door map). If you look at new Coldwind realm, even the sky is bright, his traps are powerful there because the volume of grass is massive.

He needs some QoL as carry 2 traps, trap spawns far away from the map boundary.

I disagree trappers traps are extremely noticable in grass on reworked maps

I think its likely about the graphic setting. I play in Ultra which is the shadow is quite dense make traps harder to see.

But your settings are irrelevant, the survivors settings determine the visibility. And the graphics settings shouldn't affect the gameplay in this way at all. A blending/shimmering camo effect like the wraiths while moving cloaked would be a great catch all for current and future game states.
