Scream tunnelers... RANT
Since Friday the start of the weekend, wall to wall Babysitters and tunnelers from PC/switch/PS4 ??? I left out Xbox because I have ran into very, very, very, very, very, very, very and very few killers who played toxic babysit an tunnel. Seriously? I thought that enough people knew about this garbage. I guess not, joke is on me! No it is not just hight teens we are talking 8 - 15 lvl killers. When are the devs gonna put a stop to supporting babysitters or tunnel killers.

It'll be like this all summer. So maybe we should use decisive strike again. I still use it and I noticed that I've gotten more use out of it because the killer is so obsessed with me.

If the killer keeps tunneling you thats an opportunity to improve your chases, you simply throwing the game is not only a refusal to learn how to play but also ruins the game for your teammates.
Also every platform tunnels and camps, Xbox is not excluded from this.

Ideally this is when your team at least tries to step in. I know it's tricky in solo but I know for myself at least, if I notice someone getting tunneled (or if I'm on 0 hooks while others are on Death Hooks), I'll actively try to find the killer and body block and generally get in the way to get them to go after me instead.
Unfortunately if the killer wants you dead, you gonna be dead. There's really no way that you can remove tunneling from the game without actively harming innocent killers.

So you're mad at the Killer for playing the game?

Well since we're here for the umpteenth time, how do you propose a method for to stop "supporting" killers that do this exactly, that isn't abusable in some fashion because many methods have been tried in the past and I'm sure most never even made it out of internal testing let alone out of a PTB, and in true BHVR fashion there's a perk for that, several actually. If you or your teammates aren't running BT, camaraderie, DS, or kindred then camping and tunneling must not be that big of an issue for you.

Not just me the whole team. I am decent player most of the time but in my opinion I just find it a petty way to play.

Xbox got as many campers as all other plattforms.

Ok this is off topic - and yes I’m trying to be a lil funny here, but I’m also actually quite curious —- How did you come to have this game on so many different platforms? Isn’t each one a separate purchase with separate progression? Do you play mobile as well? Furthermore how much have you been playing to be able to collect tunneling data from each of these platforms since Friday?
Now back to your point, yes, camping/tunneling is terrible right now. On mobile as well.

It is your way of thinking that people aren't entitled to opinions? I made a suggestion that is it. If a person likes my idea fine if not, such as yourself, so be it. That is the point of a discussion? Or did the meaning change since I learned it ?

How can a killer tunnel the whole team?

Yeah, Babysitter is a fairly toxic perk.

Get ready for 5th cakes event, the hell is going to be released

I don't disconnect. I let the killer win. If the killer has to win so bad they down you and chase the unhooked. Even if you get unhooked and they still come after you. Fine. I don't need to win that "BAD". I can play again. Even as killer I don't have to win that bad. Let the killer hook you and move on. I see no reason to disconnect because killer gets quieter points and you get timed out. Just go to next game hopefully a better killer.

'Quit' does not mean 'disconnect'. You are still basically not trying. If you don't want to put forth effort to win, then stop playing entirely because you are dead weight to both your team and the killer and shouldn't be playing. All or not at all.

playing periodically throughout the day on Xbox. You get set with different killers from different platforms that do not tell you which is which except from the one you are compatible with. I took that they aren't Xbox so they have to be one of the three pc/PS4/switch or mobile as you suggested.

How can a killer tunnel the whole team at the same time?
Just because a killer doesnt go afk after he hooks all survivors at least once doesnt mean hes tunneling

Put a bigger hit on bp points that make the killer stop babysitting or tunneling. Awhile ago killers lost blood points big time for that. It did stop a lot of it. I learned to read the screen at the end of the game to see where I screwed up and where I needed to improve to get better points.

And Survivors abused it. They still do abuse the Hook Proximity penalty when they can. No, survivors don't get a way to force killers to leave and allow them to get undeserved unhooks.
2 -
Is that fact or opinion? Basically telling me I have no choice? Then you condone that behavior? See there I don't agree. I don't have to play the killers style. I can choose, it is called free will. Some rules need to change while others are fine.

Neither - it's the truth. I condone playing the game as best you can until it's over. Your moral outrage doesn't change the fact that you are basically only playing the game when it's easy and requires no thought or effort.
3 -
I agree on that. Survivors shouldn't be allowed right on top of killers doing hooks. Swf groups are notorious for that and it is extremely irritating.

I guarantee you it wouldn't stop almost any hard campers and only punish people for either A. just chasing a survivor around a hook, that's your teammates fault not the killers, or B. During endgame when if you only have 1 person on hook and at least 2 others alive and well that basically your best option and it would be stupid to punish someone for. And killers who want to camp are gonna camp they already don't care that they aren't pipping why do you think a bloodpoint hit bigger then what they're already eating is gonna change anything. If you camp every survivor you down you are already losing a massive amount of BP and even if you 4k you are likely not even getting 20k points. I don't even know why we still see people complain about a problem so easily counter-able its a damn TOOLTIP in the mobile version like c'mon dude.
1 -
One thing - camping does not always mean you depipped. That is a myth Survivors perpetuate to make themselves feel better. You can camp while not sitting on top of the hook and still patrol gens and win chases while you guard that hook. It just takes effort, luck and the right Killer and Perks.
3 -
Err wrong. Do you have camera spying on me? You know how I play every game? Err wrong. I have played a lot of challenging games that do not require tunnelers or babysitters. I just "CHOOSE" to indulge those people. If you wish to feed them be my guest.

if you are patrolling and taking chases that's not camping, you can proxy camp I guess but if survivors are doing it right that's even easier to counter the normal tent and smores camping. Don't muddle the definition and move the goal post.

Okay, both of you are sitting here denying reality and being stuck in your own little thought bubbles, so I'm out. Good luck; you won't solve the problems you apparently hate by refusing to listen, though.
2 -
okay dude. I would ask how I'm "denying reality" but whatever.

Kindred + Open Handed will change your world.
1 -
Some killers will chase you and tunnel you because you use DS.

I've had an inordinate amount of tunnelers and, especially, campers over the last few days. I don't know why.

How can you do that? they implemented emblems to encourage "more fun" gameplay.... and made scoring events count based on how many hooks you have, not being near the hook, etc.... but if people want to tunnel and camp... let them. Often at high ranks you lose the game..... very fast .... chase + camping someone takes 3 mintues or so on average to do... that is 2 gens per remaining survivor (aka 6 gens) if they punish it.... obvioussssslsy that is not reality, but the point is, they can 100% lose the game if you punish camping.
You cant really prevent it. It is going to happen, you have to change your attitude about it. you can just move on to the next game and have fun. If you let your enemy change you, then you have lost. Be positive and have fun. There is 100% the ability as killer to feel the same way you do when survivors use strong perks and swf against killers that dont have the time in game to punish it..... It is all about not letting them control your fun. if you get mad.... find ways to practice looping or have fun, or take a break and come back..
I can tell you as someone who has two accounts both in red ranks there is a drastic difference in gameplay at low ranks and at higher ranks. achieving higher ranks takes understanding what it takes to pip, and doing it. I know that is easier said than done.... but the majority of killers that are not new understand that they cant camp without throwing the game.

Question: Are killers not allowed to do everything the game allows to win the game?
Follow up: Are survivors allowed to do everything the game allows to win the game?
Because while I get being the first one down sucks, it's not the killers fault they want an early lead to win the game. Time is literally stacked against them.
It's basically like getting looped while playing killer. With the right perks a survivor can literally just run around forever and the killer can't catch up. So that is no fun to play against. Maybe that should be just as bad as tunneling.
P.S. Borrowed Time basically makes tunneling a non-issue.

Okay now I am confused. Per rules copied and pasted:
THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT CONSIDERED BANNABLE OFFENSES - PLEASE DO NOT REPORT:
Camping (?)
Slugging
Tunneling (?)
Streamsniping
Teabagging
Bodyblocking
Looping (?)
GRIEFING: INTENTIONAL GAMEPLAY ABUSE
- Working with the opposite team to gain an advantage or grief teammates
- Targeting specific users repeatedly in order to ruin their game experience
- Holding the game hostage
Now read 2nd amendment to grieving? Is it targeting and causing grief to specific players repeatedly by tunneling, camping, and or looping?

This forum is 90% of killer mains, of course tunneling is fine, "its a strategy"
Most of the time its the same people that whine against genrushing tho
0 -
Agreed it is a strategy but then it falls under grief - Part 2. Repeatedly causing grief to a player to a poor gaming experience.
0 -
It is a strategy, but so is genrushing
