So it's pretty well agreed on that this killer is doodoo on the power scale, that being said his power can be oppressive. My thoughts, after spending about 100 hours playing him would be to make his trick blades (knives bounce off the walls) base kit and have the add on do something else (not that it does much to being with.)

The second thing I would change is make it so where if you don't activate Main Event, you retain 50% of the build up charge for it, instead of losing it all.

The final thing I would change is his laceration decay add ons. These add ons do nothing at all and should be completely changed into something new. Perhaps make it so survivors are debuffed if they are injured/downed with knives, such as mangled, extra bleeding, blindness, etc.

This is all I would change for the Trickster if I had my way, the fact is he can never be one of the better killers without being oppressive beyond belief, I think these changes would buff him a small bit without making him unbearable to vs.

    I don't think he is that bad, I have a lot more of a success with him than say Clown or Legion (PC).


    He is actually quite fun to play as too.

    What I've noticed, he actually has the fastest TTK out of all ranged killers as long as all knives hit, yes beats huntress too, but as I said only in a situation where all knives hit and you already have knife throwing speed at winded up.


    He is just weak on high wall loop, decimate on open field and low walls, even more than huntress (barely any punishment on missed hits). He is also utter ######### on interior maps (press F when you see Lery's).


    Sure, you won't snowball as hard with him as with huntress, but he holds his ground.

    He is just an alternative to her.


    The buffs I would like on him:

    1) The trick shot being base kit (1 ricochet)

    2) Laceration decay being 1 point per 10 seconds off the chase while not sprinting AND a 3 second activation mending like ability that removes 1 laceration every 0.5 second. So he has a reason to use it as a semi slowdown ability. (1st point removed after 3.5 seconds)
