Iron Will does to Killers what Spirit does to Survivor
As the title says this perk is an example of bad design when killer gameplay relies heavily on sound. You play in first person so this would mean at certain tiles you have to make a read as to which direction the survivors are going. (GuEsSinG).
Take Pig for example you notice the survivor is at a tile so you crouch and attempt to do the Dash Attack moving mouse left to right around the loop only to notice no one is there. This is because Iron Will allowed the survivor to escape a chase with perk disabling Killers sound. It also doesn't help matters that for some reason after months upon months the footstep sound bug has yet to still be fixed.
This leads to Survivor doing exactly what they hate about Spirit and that's not being able to tell where they are due to lack of sound. You guys want Spirit to give sound queues, Iron Will completely negates that against every killer.
If you are someone who runs Iron Will every game but want Spirit nerfed you need to realise how much of a hypocrite you are because every killer you go against you are practically Spirit in Survivor gameplay style.
Killers, think about how many times you have been robbed of a down due to lack of sound
Survivors think about when you go against Spirit and she downs you with no warning or any sort of indicator you are just "Guessing" thats exactly what Iron Will does.

If you're trying to dash around a tile where you cannot see the survivor, you shouldn't be dashing around that tile. Iron Will is nowhere near as broken or uninteractive as Spirit is.

Iron will and stridor needs to exist as long as there is different volume of sound to different survivors.
Spirit relies heavily on sound unlike other killers, thats why stridor is good on her specifically. Even more so when Iron will is meta as #########

I don't really see the comparison that much but it's true IW is a perk that would never be released anymore in it's current state.

I mean to be fair a lot of people say "use iron will to counter Spirit" which just proves how broken BOTH this perk and the killer are. And im all for nerfing Iron Will and Spirit. Iron Will is so brainless a monkey could use it and Spirit is well...We all know what Spirits like :).

This comparison makes no sense. The only counter to Spirit is Iron Will, and 90% of spirits use a perk that counters it.
With Iron Will, killers still have plenty of tools at their disposal for tracking. Obviously, they can have line of sight. They also have scratch marks and blood. Yes, Lucky Break changes this, but that would be an issue with that perk, not Iron Will. Lucky break is hardly ever used, and really is just a decent perk. There are also plenty of perks, add ons for tracking survivors, such as I’m All Ears, bitter murmur, wall hack add ons, pyramid head’s trails, doctor’s blast, etc.
Killer mains constantly complain about survivors running the same perks, but this would be even worse if Iron Will gets nerfed. We already had our strongest perk nerfed, whilst killers still have very strong ones.

If you have a big problem with Iron Will, you can just run Stridor. Then it is 3 Slowdown-Perks + Stridor, should still be good enough.

IW only removes grunts of pain. It's easy to track survivors using other sounds, like footsteps, scratch marks, blood pools.
Tracking is one of the major abilities that define a good killer. Wanting IW nerfed just means you need to improve on that aspect of the game
