how to z flick?

I've tried zflick countless times, but it freezes at 150 degrees and the screen doesn't turn as fast as you do. What am I doing wrong?

    You mean J-flick, not Z-flick.

    So here's what you do:

    • When you want to flick, you lift your mouse and threw it in one direction. Hopefully, it won't break when it hits the walls.

    As far as i know J-Flicks were 180 turns in 1 frame,while a Z-Flicks is a 180 in 2 frames (90 degree pre turn and 90 degree from the lunge within the lethal rush.

    Isn't that supposed to be that way?

    The devs put a turn limit per frame (90 degrees)

    Nope. you get a double turn during the lunge now even without the pre turn.

    I don't understand why it's called z flick and not something like c flick like where is the z in those turns it's a c or a u or an n depending on the pov but certainly not a z come on people

    Everyone wants to ######### about blight but says nothing about Oni having a one shot that can j flick the same way , btw it may be a exploit but it's laughable reading this with some people thinking that having 100 sensitivity and turning your mouse too far in one direction even by accident is apparently "cheating" , if anything it's the developers fault and they should lock the characters until they are fixed if it's such a problem , they gave console the j flick when they claimed to "fix it" recently so it's no longer limited to pc I'm surprised it's still even brought up

    The Jflick was an exploit as the whole motion had to be executed in a single frame, but a 90 degree turn plus a 90 degree lunge is absolutely fine. You just have to turn your camera by 90 degrees then lunge and turn 90 degrees while turning again. Also yes, that means the jflick is gone, unlike what some people may say within the dbd community. These are definitely intended, but they just slightly changed blight so that everyone now has access to it, controller and m&k. The M&K version is just faster and more precise

    Not from the demonstration vid i saw by the guy who showed how to J flick. You start the lunge and then "Z Flick" It even looks weird as survivor.

    Oh this ? Well lilithomen invented this, i think it requires stupidly high dpi and a single mouse wipe, but since it takes more than a single frame it’s just fine i guess. And it’s almost useless to use it anyways since you can get the same hit with a 90+90

    From what I've seen you have to flick at least twice in a rush, once before you attack and then one during your attack and when combined will be somewhere in between 120 degree turn and a 180 if you pull it off correctly.

    They tried to remove an exploit which consisted of turning your camera in a single frame while lunging to perform a jflick. And this is gone now. There is nothing left to remove as 90 degrees turns are intended

    didnt McLean himself reference the fact that is intended now? i remember him talking about it being a turn cap per frame. the cap works fine.

    Don't know why people are screaming exploits. The devs fixed j-flicks. Whatever's left is completely intended by them.

    People will come up with any excuse for exploiting around a characters clearly designed limitations and counters if its something they enjoy or it makes them feel strong.

    What you're doing wrong is trying to learn how to do an exploit which will probably be fixed and leave your time wasted instead of learning how to play Blight properly.
