A note on the model reworks
With Nea's new look revealed now, please keep in mind that the videos and images shown are NOT final. there'll be dirt and blood and despair before the models hit the servers

I hope so, because I'm not a fan of what's been shown. Yeah, she looks prettier, but she lost all of her personality too. I liked the rugged, defiant expression she had, jagged eyebrows included. Now she looks generic and kind of sad.

They should just let us choose between old and new model, to be honest.
As I've always said, just because you can change something it doesn't you should.

Dbd community ######### everytime anything get reworked, they want the old ass 32-bit asset and 3mb texture we used to have because they don't care they already play stretched with ultra low settings.😅
I kinda like nea rework.

Man you've got a major case of the nostalgia.

Major case? I've got the biggest case of nostalgia you will ever see.
But it is justified. It is more than justified, to be honest.

Graphically updating the game seems fine to me. This isn’t a complete art style change or anything it’s just touching up her model a bit

Well, no reason for it to be a mandatory change. We are used to how these beloved characters look. Let us keep it.

Yeah, Nea's new model is fine, imo. She's still hideous but she does look better. And seriously, she's needed a do-over since the day she came out, this is long overdue for her.

I like the still pics that were showed but the lighting in the vid makes her look meh.

She's fine. I wait to see her in game with the cosmetic I make her wear to see if I like it.
If I don't, I'll still play her from time to time. She has a skate on her back and a t-shirt with cats. Enough arguments for me, she can look like what she wants.

I can't wait for the hopefully inevitable Quentin face rework just to see how many people will expose themselves as bots by complaining about it.

Eh, there's touchups and then there's changing how the character looks. Nea has different facial features now, so if you preferred her old look, you're SOL.
I've liked most of the model reworks they've done so far, but that's because they were mostly cleaning up overly dark lines and giving more detailed, realistic textures. A lot of people get tetchy when they go further than that and distrust model updates as a result. (And if I assume that Plague's rift skin is based off her new model rather than her old one, I'm really, really not looking forward to her inevitable model rework.)

Someday you gotta let go of the past yknow

When it’s something like old Freddy I would agree but this is a pretty minor change all things considered. How often will you be seeing her face in game anyway since Nea wears a mask in a lot of her skins

All the new models are way better and look more realistic, except imo the nurse I think they made her clothes look too puffy but the textures are obviously better. I saw the twitter post today and every single snowflake complaining about the new nea and I'm sitting here wondering what planet these whiners are from.

iirc the only one in the way of a rework is... what was it?... new line cinema? the copyright holders. like, that actor was on board with a rework, but the company said Nope

I think her mouth is a little bit too big ingame but otherwise she looks 100 times better, can't wait for Kate and Feng.

Jake has the best rework, he looks incredible.

Alright, I might have exaggerated a little bit. It is hard for me to deal with changes, even in real life, and the fact that most recent changes have been nothing more than a disappointment does not help.
I apologise.

I suppose the "kind of sad" part is understandable when you've been repeatedly tortured and killed for the past 4-5 years.

I would complain if Quentin got a face rework, because I wouldn't be able to do this anymore:

If twitter person's history is anything to go by, we may see Feng in the near future.
