Tru3Ta1ent Deserves Better

It’s a shame that he was removed from the Fog Whisperer Program. He did nothing wrong and then Jen, who openly admitted to starting to the drama on Twitter, apologizes for her wrong assumption about Tru3. This in itself should be why he is put back into the program, as she basically initiated a cancel attack on Tru3 that then prompted Dead by Daylight to react.

After revisiting the stream where Tru3 “mocked the disabled”, it is clear that with enough toxic people rallying behind a claim that anyone can succumb to this kind of punishment. The fact that not many Fog Whisperers are standing up for Tru3 at this moment for his wrongful reasoning of being dropped is actually mind boggling. While they might not agree with Tru3 on everything, this is an attack against content creators who dare speak their mind against the majority, particularly a majority that has a good amount of toxic individuals and hateful people.

Tru3 clearly was not using a voice to attack the disabled, and to those people trying to argue that he was you need to reevaluate your perception on hateful speech. While Scott Jund is at the other end of the debate against Tru3, I would like to acknowledge here that I don’t believe he is at fault for the hate train that Tru3 has endured. When the toxic/cancel side of the community got wind of this drama, they began antagonizing Tru3 until they could nitpick a reason to cancel him. I’ve said my bit, and I believe the devs need to reevaluate their decision on Tru3’s removal from the program. If anything, there needs to be fair treatment established amongst their content creators, meaning several other creators should also be removed if you are going to remove Tru3 for something such as this. But I feel other content creators do not deserve this treatment either. Keep things fair and equal for all fog whisperers or don’t let cancel culture sway those who represent your game and company.
