Cross Progression - Is it actually coming?
It feels so weird that we still don't have switch cross progression. I know in the Q&A stream near the start of the year they said by the end of Q2 (end of June) but originally said they suspected it would be the start of April. Its really frustrating and weird then that we haven't had a single update on the progress of it (a date or postponed date at least) as well as no mention of it during the anniversary stream. Is it still actually happening or has it just been quietly shelved? Its really frustrating as a player at this point.

but honestly it definitely feels like they are postponing it and this is a very good example where communication by the devs is lacking.

By announcing it I'm sure sales spiked a little from people getting ready to cross-progress on Switch which is the worst selling platform for DBD. There really isn't any other reason why they promised this 1+ years out.
Like many things this company promises, they're hoping we forget about it and don't whine too much. This is what happens when software development companies let their employees work whenever they want.

This exactly! I'm hoping it comes with the RE chapter as that would make the most sense at least. But totally agree the lack of communication is really obvious and frustrating, especially after how much they reminded us to follow their social medias for updates during the anniversary stream lol.

It isn't up to the DBD developers. Direct your anger towards Microsoft and specifically Sony who allegedly are against cross progression and "fine" the developers of the game the amount of revenue they estimate to lose from cosmetic purchases on other platforms.

Why would someone direct their anger towards Microsoft and Sony when the person is worrying about Nintendo Switch cross Progression which was confirmed by BHVR devs to come in Q2 2021?
